I have had the pleasure to have worked with Tonya for many years, and each experience has been wonderful. We found Tonya through her advertisement with the Philadelphia Urban League Gala. We were looking for an interior designer that shared our values and experiences and we could have done no better than to work with Tonya on our project.

We were diving right into home ownership in Philadelphia and that came with its own challenges seeing that we were not used to the vertical living arrangements, more narrow and distinct/segregated rooms so we know we had to get the furnishing/finishes right the first time! We engaged Tonya to help us furnish the entire home (indoor/outdoor) save for a few carry over pieces from our rental flat.

Tonya was very patient with us and worked in our target budget range to provide high quality pieces, that were beautiful and within cost targets. In some instances Tonya went far above and beyond what her commitment was to source certain items (some "must-haves" for the design, some vendor challenges, etc.). The end project was a beautifully designed home that wasn't over the top and that was still comfortable and welcoming.

When we decided to update our kitchen we asked Tonya to help. Our update became a renovation! What a challenge! Our entire kitchen was gutted! Tonya is a visionary and she designed our new kitchen from top to bottom. She designed from the walls inward. Her design incorporated our lifestyle. The kitchen is the heart of most homes. We wanted our kitchen to be warm..a gathering place, not just a place to cook meals. Mission accomplished! We love our kitchen. We could not have (nor would we want to) redesigned our kitchen without Tonya. She counseled us on colors that incorporated our desires and that made sense. She also selected the artwork that went into the kitchen. We, our family and friends continue to enjoy this wonderful space.

We have referred Tonya to others and we will utilize her talents again for other parts of our home.

Tonya helped us decorate our home shortly after we moved in 12 years ago. She took her time to get to know us, our taste, and the feel that we wanted to convey. When she brought us her ideas it was as if she had read our minds! The style was comfortable and the decor unique. We turned to Tonya again when we renovated our master bath. I have contracted with Tonya Comer, principal of Tonya Comer Interiors to provide a full-range of services for five interior build-out and interior design projects. These included two luxury condos, my corporate headquarters, a commercial office and warehouse location and a restaurant.

My past experience was that interior designers were difficult to work with; but when Tonya showed up, it was immediately obvious that I was in for something different.
