Eaten here twice now. Similar experiences both times. This restaurant's decor is slightly uninspired. A little too understated. The food and service is top-notch though. I had the veal chop which was good, my wife the lemon veal. My associate had the squid-ink pasta with shellfish. All quite good. The appetizers are bold, unusual and authentic. The chocolate mousse is first-rate; the best ever. The creme brulee is less spectacular, but good. Cocktails were beefy and reasonable. Good selection of unpedestrian, challenging wines. Well worth the stop. Fresh and creative periodic menu specials. A fine restaurest in a traditional manner. Incredibly diverse ingredients. More...

If you want top notch Italian cuisine, Tomaso's is the place to go. My husband and I started out just looking for a casual place to grab a quick lunch. As we were driving past, I pulled up Tomaso's menu on my phone. We were pleasantly surprised at the lunch menu choices, and decided to eat an early dinner instead. What a find!!! Being from Chicago, we are food snobs. Tomaso's definitely delivered. My husband had the short ribs with risotto; I had linguini and clams with white wine sauce. Probably the best I have ever had. After lunch, we chatted with Tomaso the owner. Charming gentleman!!! He even sponsors a trip to Italy in the fall! This is one Italian restaurant not be missed!! More...

Lights out Italian! We had a couple friends in from out of town and they're big foodies, so we wanted to pull out all the stops and show them a great time. They were completely blown away after a couple bottles of wine and a three course meal at Tomaso's. I'd recommend this place for a good evening and fine Italian dining. More...

You know how when you were young and your parents took you out for your first very nice dinner....when you realized that they were signalling that despite your teen age, you were a young adult? You probably looked around and were at a place like Tomaso's with it's tasty, complex menu, crisp white tablecloths and napkins, genial yet professional wait staff and cool, understated decor. Tomaso's has maintaed that atmosphere, yet sits squarely in the middle of the Phoenix culinary scene. Worth a visit for a special event or just because you deserve a good italian food fix. Highly recommend. More...

Excellent service. Starting with the complimentary valet parking outside. We were seated quickly and had some great wine to start followed by a delicious hot meal.

Have not dined there since 1989- I traveled from Evergreen CO in the winter to sunny Scottsdale! I have to say I’m thrilled to see that you’re still here! What a beautiful family. I remember the OssoBuco! More...

Great food. They were out of the two beers we liked, Miller Lite and Coors light.

An Italian restaurant that serves authentic Italian food.
The quality is excellent, but the prices seem
very high.

Look the restaurant. Taken into a new part, which I didn't enjoy as much as the main area. Very few there when we arrived, but filled up in the hour or so. Then it became very noisy. Food was very good. I just had soup, but the others had entrees and everyone was very pleased with their food. More...
