How long have you been interested in magic?
In over 20 years of performing, I’ve come a long way with my magic career, but I’ve always tried to keep it fun. Even as a small child I was always a ham, telling jokes and showing off. Later, at the age of 13, I started performing tricks for friends. It wasn't until I was 18 that I realized I could turn my passion into an actual job. Magic has always been very rewarding for me, and I intend to keep performing for as long as I can. And why not? I like meeting people. I also love to make people laugh, no matter what age.
Take us through your show – what can we expect?
Chicago magician/comedian Tomas Medina commands the stage with enthusiasm and wit. His high energy performance has made him one of the most sought after family entertainers in the Chicagoland area. Tomas has traveled the U.S. bringing his amazing performances to all types of venues. State Fairs, company parties, school assemblies, and yes... kid parties.

What do you love most about your job?
People. I like meeting people.
I also love to make people laugh, no matter what age.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I’ve never felt like what I do is a "business." And that’s exactly how I like it! Far from working any kind of career strategy, everything kind of fell into my lap. I never wanted to be an entertainer; people just kept asking if I'd be the entertainment for their events... and I kept saying yes. One thing led to another, and POOF! 20 years later I'm a comedic magician.”
