We have used Tom on two occasions and on both occasions we have been extremely pleased with the end result. We would highly recommend choosing Tom over competitors. I assure you that you will not be disappointed with the end result! Originally we found Tom from a recommendation through a mutual friend. I had the vision of removing a wall in an attic room and creating storage space (fitted wardrobe) along the length of the wall in the void. When we met Tom he was very personable and understood our vision and talked us through our options. Any problems he foresaw he responded with a solution. This inspired and reassured us that he was the right person with the appropriate knowledge and skills for the task in hand. Before we confirmed with Tom we spoke with other carpenters. All of whom advised it was a difficult job and could foresee many issues. They did not fill us with confidence! I would go as far as saying I am not sure if they even wanted or were capable to do the work – these were carpenters rated 5 stars from research on the web! When work started Tom was very courteous and communicated throughout, updating us as he progressed. It was completed within the agreed timeframe to the highest of standards. The whole project was stress-free and if there were any major issues during the build these were just dealt with an update provided rather than a call informing me of what he found and what should he do. He kept me at ease throughout! The wardrobes were finished to an outstanding finish and we are extremely happy with them and are even better than we had hoped for. I re-contacted Tom 9 months after the completion of the wardrobes for the next job. We have an unusual space in our kitchen and planned for a dining table to fill it. We needed a table, benches and shelving. The table needed to be very narrow but long to enable it to fit into the space. We searched online for a premade solution but nothing suitable was found. Therefore, we did not hesitate to contact Tom. We showed him what we wanted and shared pictures from Pinterest. Again, we felt Tom got exactly what we wanted and trusted his taste and workmanship for the job. We didn’t even contact anyone else this time round! The work was started. Tom sourced the wood and sorted everything that was needed. We were even on holiday whilst the work was underway and everything was produced in his workshop. When we returned Tom arrived to deliver the table, benches and to fit the shelving at the time and date, which was agreed from the initial consultation. The end product is fantastic and we cannot fault it! If I had to score Tom it would be 10/10! If you are looking for a skilled, highly trained, professional, expert carpenter then look no further! Tom made us some beautiful bespoke fitted wardrobes for our alcoves in both bedrooms upstairs. Fantastic job and a great guy, highly recommend him for any of your carpentry needs!

Tom fitted a beautiful set of shelves in our loft room. It was a tricky job, as they needed to be fitted around an asymmetric chimney breast. The result has made a huge impact, making a spare room feel homely and loved - we're delighted with them. Tom was hardworking and professional and the quality of his work is excellent.
