Great place to visit with kids! Our 2yr old was a bit frightened by the loud braying but he enjoyed the visit & checking out all the cool things in the little shop. Thanks Tonie for allowing us to visit midweek! We appreciated it so much! More...
Have a lovely time snuggling with the animals!
Enjoyed our afternoon here on a day our girls had a short day at school. The donkeys are so friendly and love kids. We enjoyed feeding them a few apples off the tree and petting them to our heart’s content. We also got to see horses, chickens and a lama on our visit. Miss Tonie was so sweet with our girls (kindergarten-grade 3) and we all learned a lot. She’s got some neat stuff in her farm store as well, little hidden gems. Thank you for sharing your beautiful property and farm with us all. We will be back! Sincerely, your neighbors from across the street! More...
We had the best time! Baby Donkey Dirt Bath! We scored some great vintage finds too.

Animals sooooo cute and guide was soo very nice!! I highly recommend this!!:D
A great place to visit and see many wonderful farm animals. We were unexpected guests during off-season, but very welcomed and we loved the personal tour of the property. The store has lots of wonderful garden, home and other vintage treasures and the several miniature donkeys are very friendly! More...
Really amazing farm, super tranquil with the cutest mini donkeys, horses, a llama, apple trees, plum trees, pear trees, hazelnut trees. Super cute, cozy farm atmosphere and Toni was extremely welcoming. More...
It's a real work of love and good feeling with endless things to peruse in an honest to god vintage farm with wonderful outbuildings and many endearing farm animals eager for attention. Toni herself is a gracious and hard-working country hostess only too pleased to show people her lovingly built world of exceptional antiques, animals and much story-telling about it all. It's a great place for a family outing. I have watched Toni build the Tollen Farm for thirty years and have taken great pleasure in seeing it become the event it is. More...
Fantastic, well worth the visit. The owner, Tonie, is a very pleasant and accommodating lady. We toured the grounds and became acquainted with the Mediterranean donkeys which are quite friendly and almost follow you like a large size dog! Left with a greater knowledge of the history of these animals and those horses she has rescued. Toni allowed us to pick our choice of figs and apples from her trees that were full at a very fair price. She has a small building that has many curios and gift items. More...
Wow! I'm in love with a donkey! The shopping isn't bad either!
We visited today! Wonderful family fun and we found some great cowboy boots also! Donkeys and horses are beautiful too.
Took my kids today to Tollen's Farm and had a wonderful time. Tonie took the time to walk us around and introduce us to all the animals, explaining everything and answering every question my children had! Her little shop has so many cute items and antiques as well. A nice change from the commercialized world we live in. Highly recommend visiting! More...
What a very special place this was. Tonie was delightful and so welcoming. We got to spend time cuddling with the donkeys and seeing the cute shop full of treasures.
We had a wonderful time learning about donkeys.. such loving critters and wonderful owners
Had a great birthday party there for a four year old and would heartily recommend it to other parents. The birthday child and three other kids had a blast learning about the donkeys, and then petting and brushing them. Adults had a good time too. Tonie the owner gave a great tour. More...
We visited Tollen Farms on Mothers Day, Tonie, the owner gave us the grand tour of the farm and all her family of animals, including the new baby of the group Such a joy to have this jewel right here in our neighborhood. If you are in the area, you must stop in for a visit, you will be treated like family and have a great time! More...
Wonderful visit to the farm today. Love the donkeys...looking forward to many more visits.
Had a wonderful visit to Tollen Farm recently. I had no idea we had such a treasure across the street from Villebois! We got to visit and pet the donkeys and horses. We could see the sheep and llama. She has the most amazing yard with plants, vintage yard decor, pots...etc for sale. The indoor shop is packed with treasures and a TON of really nice, gently used high quality cowboy boots in all sizes. I feel blessed to live in this community and be surrounded by nature and farms! This place is enchanting. The owner has the most beautiful collection of antiques displayed in just the perfect shabby chic/rustic way. She has been collecting them over many years. Her garden is lushly overgrown. Also, we met the donkeys and discovered that three of them are expecting! We will be back. More...
Tollen Farms is AWESOME!! It really is a great place with lots of fun animals and neat country items for sale. Tonie and the staff are so nice and it is just a really great place to shop and get your county fix!! ;)
I love the atmosphere at Tollen Farm. The shop has such a variety of unique gifts and treasures and we were made to feel so welcome. The homey atmosphere extends to the animals and it was also very special for my kids to get to interact with them. We will definitely be going back! More...
Tollen Farm is a hidden gem! We were looking for a spot near wine country to stop off and show our daughter some animals on the way to an afternoon at the vineyards with family from out of town and came across this place. It's super easy to get to from the Portland area. When we arrived, we were greeted by Toni's two large and friendly dogs and then Toni came out to give us a personal tour of the farm and all of its wonderful animals. She has a ton of great donkeys (each with their own story!), four beautiful Arabian horses, at least one llama (there might be more, but we only saw the one), two ewes and six baby lambs who were just three weeks old when we visited (on 5/4) and amazingly cute. The animals were friendly and our sixteen month old daughter absolutely loved the experience. I would highly recommend it for kids of all ages. The property itself itself is beautiful and has some nice views. There were some huge birds flying overhead while we were there and Toni mentioned that two Bald Eagles live in the area and are frequently visible. There's a 300 year old oak tree, kiwi vines, a 40 year old wisteria, and an assortment of other plants spread throughout the many garden areas. All of the gardens are full of eclectic household knick knacks and functional decor (planters, wrought iron trellises, garden furniture, etc.), most of which are for sale. There are plants for sale too. Toni also has a small building set up as a garden shop (which includes a fabulous collection of vintage cowboy boots and all kinds of handmade goodies from around the world) and another small shed with even more things to check out. Most of all, she is incredibly warm, friendly, and passionate about her farm and garden. My mom was with us and went on and on about the farm and the whimsical garden all day long. There is really something for everyone here. Highly recommend it for families, gardeners, animals enthusiasts, and anyone looking for a fun time near Portland. Check it out! More...
5 stars for sure! I love going to Tollen Farm! The shops are amazing and you can find a gift for everyone...even yourself!
