I just spent a weekend at Epona Rise for a women's business retreat with Deanna Deacon as a host, and enjoyed every second of it. The cabins are so peaceful and secluded, the main hall is absolutely breathtaking with large windows and a perfect view of a little valley. We had my wedding here this last NYE. We had a beautiful lunch in the lodge with 50 family members and friends! The family stayed at the lodge and loved the views, beautiful log beds, and spacious lodge with industrial kitchen was perfect!

Spent four wonderful days in November 2017 with Hillary and her herd. Going back this Spring. Hillary listens, gets it and gives great guidance. She is inspirational beyond expectation. I have since rescued a dozen horses of my own. Her herd, all rescues, are so gentle, respectful and wise. My small business strategy was improved with Hillary's advice and my heart was full with simply remembering the horses gentleness and wisdom. What a truly amazing place! These aren't your ordinary accommodations. When we first arrived we didn't know what to expect but shortly after our arrival we knew our stay would be beyond expectations. Within a few minutes of our arrival we were sitting in front of crackling fire in the common area lodge and making friends with others guests. In the evening we went back to our cabins and melted into the soft beds. I hadn't slept that long in months. In the morning we woke up to a beautiful sunny valley. The staff treat people like friends and you're encouraged to make yourself feel like this is your home. Additionally, there's a herd of rescue horses on the property which you can arrange to interact with. If you're looking for a quiet, peaceful and unassuming place I would highly recommend a stay at Epona. More...

We were able to walk among the horses and we all loved the experience. Sun Peaks is 15 mins up the road and we always found parking. A great ski resort for families with a wide variety of runs. We hope to return in the spring/summer to see how the incredible landscape has changed. More...

I recently organized a meeting/ retreat at this venue. As soon as I connected with the owner Hilary, she was responsive, resourceful, calm and her communication was on point. The lodge and farm is absolutely beautiful and the cabins are gorgeous- a cut above the old dude ranch but still within budget and comfy, cozy and clean with great decor. We had an incredible experience at the Epona Rise Retreat Center. As the planning, I had a seamless experience before, during and after the event. Carson and Maddie were available to answer my questions prior to, ease my nerves and provide all information I required. We came as a sales group of 24 individuals for a creative brainstorming session in a natural setting. The experience was beyond anything we ever could have asked for! The service level was truly unmatched, and I've planned dozens of similar events. Having the cabin accomodations 50 feet from the main lodge was a huge asset. We brought a chef with us and Carson and Maddie were constantly available to help out with serving food, cleaning up, running into town for us etc. It was unbelievable! Overall, every person on our team said it was the best sales retreat we've ever had and we've been in business for 40 years. I couldn't provide a higher recommendation. Thank you to the Epona team! I found this place after researching different leadership development experiences. I did a half day equine experience session lead by Hillary. I had no experience with horses before this and was a little intimidated going in. Hillary held the space carefully and gave really clear instructions around safety in the field. After that, I was really blown away by her approach of using the herd of retired horses. Tons of insight and and a new perspective. It was definitely a welcome break from the hotel conference room, mediocre lunch and motivational speaker style of leadership retreat. Would highly recommend this space and programming. More...

Stayed for a week in the summer, we wanted something near Sun Peaks and still away in the wilderness. The staff really made us feel welcome. Lots of hiking trails on the property.

The cabin was well outfitted with a tub and shower. Loved that the main lodge was shared, we made some amazing pizza in the big restaurant size oven!

Sun Peaks was about 15 minutes to the main village. I had no idea that they had so much going on in the summer, the chairlift was running for hiking and mountain biking. More...
