What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
For me, you have to capture the story of the photo. If at a party, I try and capture the liveliness of the dancing, and connection between people. I value a very strong relationship with my clients so they fee totally at ease and have fun in my photos - this has proved very successful.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
Firstly, I’d ask them what they’d like at the end of the job - client satisfaction comes first to me. I’d also ask if they have any special preferences so I can tailor my photography to any of their needs.
What do you love most about your job?
I love being able to capture memories for people so they can relate back and remember occasions with my photos. I love seeing the satisfaction my clients have when viewing their finished photos.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I began my photography shooting urban areas and landscapes - successfully marketing photographic prints of Edinburgh and elsewhere. I then decided to get involved in Event photography because it is so appealing and rewarding - I love engaging with my clients and I find it very rewarding when they love their photos.
Why should our clients choose you?
I believe not only my photography skills, but also my editing skills set me aside from most event photographers. I gained vital skills while editing landscape photos, and I have adapted this to event photography. I have vital experience photographing parties, wedding receptions, and balls. Clients can expect a very high standard of photos at a very affordable price - this can be seen from my website.
