What’s your interior design process?
We start our interior design process with schematic design which includes working through floor plan options and the look/feel of a project using mood boards. At the end of the schematic design phase, we have an approved floor plan and a direction for design intent. Phase II is called the design development phase, this includes development of all the details of the design, from lighting to custom cabinetry, finishes and fixture selections. Once the design is approved, we then work through the construction drawings which are used for bidding and building the project, when necessary, the construction documents are used for permits and building approvals. During this phase, we also present furniture options if requested by client in order to get items upon completion of construction. Finally, once a bids are reviewed and a contractor is selected, our final phase is construction administration, we like to make sure that the project is built as planned and on schedule within your budget, this phase includes regular site visits, review of construction submittals and contractor payments.

We believe that a successful design is a collaboration between the client and designer, therefore we cater to all types of styles, working closely with you to determine the right mix for you.
What do you love most about your job?
We love to our job because we are hands on and love to design whatever comes our way, whether its a small apartment in the City, a restaurant or a freestanding farmhouse upstate
What inspired you to start your own business?
I always knew I wanted to have my own firm to ensure that I could control the outcome of my design projects. I grew up with an architect father and was on constructions sites often, I admired his creativity and I observed him closely and try to be a strong leader like him.

We are a boutique firm, always hands on and passionate about each and every project we take on. The quality of our work speaks for itself through our completed projects. We have over 20 years of design experience, a profession demanding creativity and the ability to solve complex technical details, this sets us apart from others who only bring forward one or the other.
