We decided to book with Tipsy Parties for our friends hen do because of the reviews on Trustpilot, and we weren't disappointed. The booking process was simple, and Tipsy Parties were happy to let us swap in/out which cocktails would be made on the day (for a small additional price). Darren, our bartender, came to the cottage for the evening and everybody loved it! The cocktails were amazing, the games in between were SO fun, and everyone dutifully got very tipsy. Hired Tipsy Parties for a hen party activity for my daughter. Can't recommend them enough! Michaela arrived at the stated time, brought everything with her, set up, gave great instructions for our hands-on workshop, (4 cocktails each over 2 hours) washed up, tidied away. . even judged one of our on-going activities..Everyone was still talking about this activity the following day. We had an amazing cocktail class with our bartender Jorge! It was for my hen do and I had requested to play some games in amongst the cocktail making. The games were really funny and in fitting with the party. Jorge was also really lovely and knowledgeable about the cocktails we were making. We had bartender Josh come to my sister's Hen Party and he was excellent! He arrived on time, was very smart, and very professional as well as having a joke with all of us. There were 10 cocktail drinkers and 2 mocktail drinkers who were all quite rowdy and he dealt with us all brilliantly! The drinks were yummy and we all had lots of fun (especially when Josh joined in one of our games!). Would highly recommend this service to anyone as it was so convenient to have him come to our house.(There was only one negative comment - a little bit more attention could have been given to the mocktail drinkers - they felt like they were an after thought). Overall a great experience. I found the communications really easy and Russell and his team made the booking very easy indeed. We ended up spitting our party into two group with a bartender for each group - making cocktails for the evening. Michaela was by far the strongest of the two (I can’t remember the other bartenders name - which is probably telling!). She built great rapport with the group, showed a passion and energy for what she did - and her group made four cocktails. The other bartender seemed less experienced and less comfortable building rapport with his group. He was friendly enough but I know quite a few of his group felt frustrated as he seemed to move far slower than Michaela and as a result they only made 2 cocktails. He also turned up late to the party (it is sometimes difficult to find but even so). That being said, all of our guests had a great night - some of them had more fun with making cocktails than others depending on the group they were in. Amazing experience. Definitely recommendJess arrived and was instantly a bundle of fun! She managed to get us all together despite being like herding sheep and got us started with our first cocktail. Once that was done we started with some drinking games that were a lot of fun and inclusive for everyone no matter their age. Fantastic service. Our cocktail maker Paul was brilliant, he kept in touch beforehand and asked if we had any questions etc. Arrived early which was perfect and was very prompt at setting up as well as clearing away. Paul took the tone of the Hen Party and adapted things according which was much appreciated. There were a few cocktails that were not very popular. Cocktail making went great but would be better to have a choice of which cocktails to make that are the most popular. There were three that I didn’t drink and only one that was well known. Not everyone likes white spirits.Barman was very good and e planned all of the equipment. Andy and James were both absolutely brilliant hosts! 20 hens to deal with and they managed really well. The cocktails were amazing and James instructed us well whilst keeping it fun, you actually get 4 whole cocktails each not just tasters. Andy was a butler in the buff and what a fab job he did! He kept it really tasteful and made sure to focus on the bride to be. The games inbetween the cocktails were great fun as well and the bride couldn’t have been more pleased with her surprise! Another company had to pull out two days before the hen party for reasons out of their control, so we rang round in a mad panic trying to find a replacement. Tipsy parties were recommended to us and they really saved us, they were able to offer us a very similar package and get everything arranged on extremely short notice. The bartender was a lot of fun and really helped set the mood, we made some delicious cocktails and we all had a lot of fun, even the non-drinkers were included and had a blast. Highly recommended!
