Great nail salon, looked very clean and hygenic and professional which can be difficult to find sometimes. The owner was incredibly professional. Only problem was a lack of a waiting room. The only reason I voted 4 instead of 5 was because I never got my nails done here. Since I got to my appointment more an hour early, the owner was kind enough to direct me to his other shop: nailology which is about a 7 minute walk and they were able to take me immediately. I've been to Tip Top Nails a few times now (gel manicure), and am always impressed with the service and the results. Rose has always done a wonderful job on my nails, always lets me take my time choosing, and is happy to give advice on colours that will suit my skintone etc. I've had gel manicures at maybe 3 or 4 other places, and I would say that the service at Tip Top is more thorough - Rose really focuses on doing a tidy and complete job, so the finish is always very clean. For take-off, they buff off a large amount of the gel (but not your nail, don't worry!) before applying the acetone. This means the take-off is way quicker and way less drying than others I have had. I would say that the nail prep process takes about as long as the painting/curing, if not longer - that's how thorough the job is. This place is absolutely amazing. I went this morning for a full set. I absolutely love my nails. They look so natural. Exactly was I asked for. Ben is professional and attentive. Very happy with the job done from him. The owner is very sweet and helpful. The place is very clean and all the staff welcoming. I just was a bit surprised, as when I booked over the phone I was told a different price and then they charged much more. This place is amazing. I’ve had a fair number of Shellac manicures but so far, it’s only Tip Top Nails that actually do them so they last. My last one did 3 weeks - never had that before!
