Our friends took us here last night for our first time. My hubby has lived in Irving for over 20 years and never knew this spot was here. The food was phenomenal! I had the chile relleno and my hubby had the beef enchiladas. I can't remember what my other friends had, but let's just say their plates were cleaned as well! Our waiter Sam was fantastic as well. this is one of my absolute favorite restaurants in the DFW metroplex. prices are reasonable, portions are huge, service is always excellent. definitely check them out.

We love Tio Carlos. Unfortunately, we learned yesterday that Angel is no longer employed there. He was the best!!! He made this place great! !! Too bad Carlos had to run him off. If Carlos knows what good for his business, he'll ask Angel to come back!!! We may try some new places if not, and that'll be ashame. I've spoken with a lot of other regulars, and they feel the same. Food was decent serves, well cooked and fresh!.. Reasonably priced and the drinks were served quickly. We arrived 45 mins before closing and not once did I feel hurried to leave. Will go again, no doubt!

Best Mexican food restaurant in Irving bar none, forget all of the stupid Tex-Mex chains this is authentic & really puts love into their food. Their avocado enchiladas are fantastic!!! Best black bean dip I have had. For main course I had their lunch special burrito. It was gigantic, and was topped with avocado slices. Delicious!
