Tina is a rockstar! The day started off hectic already because there was a parade nearby that caused road closures all around my home. Tina did my makeup and hair trial recently which I used for my engagement shoot, and I absolutely loved the look! She's super talented, very friendly, and makes the time fly by chatting, it was a lot of fun! She's also super responsive via email/text which I really appreciated as I've encountered some vendors for my wedding that haven't responded as quickly. I researched makeup artists in OC where I live and their rates were really high. Tina offers very reasonable rates; I made the drive to her in LA for my trial, and it was totally worth it! There is a lot of new information thrown at you when planning a wedding and with all the decisions that need to be made, it's critical to have vendors you can trust, who are patient and who are calm. Tina demonstrated all of these qualities. She was extremely responsive by email and phone, and was very respectful and polite during my trial and wedding day. I am not well versed with in hair and makeup (nor do I use it much) and Tina did a fabulous job of understanding the light and natural look I was going for without requiring too much input from me, which I appreciated. She was punctual and worked efficiently. We danced a lot during our reception and my hair and makeup lasted the whole night. I received numerous compliments on my  makeup from our guests who are more accustomed to attending weddings where brides are often unrecognizable due to overdone makeup. Tina came through for me when another makeup artist cancelled last minute. It was a blessing in disguise because she did an amazing job! She stayed true to what I asked for, worked fast, and most importantly, made me feel so beautiful. The makeup lasted all day (I was a bridesmaid for a wedding), and looked great in all the photos. Tina did my makeup for my Baby Shower & it came out sooo amazing!!!! I loved it & did not want to take it off at the end of the night! Lol It lasted my entire shower & it felt so good to hear how beautiful I looked & how amazing my makeup was! Tina was so sweet, she asked me what I wanted & gave me exactly that. Tina did my hair and makeup for my wedding day on May 4 in Las Vegas. She answered all of my questions leading up to the date via text and email.  Always responsive.  I sent her some hair/makeup inspiration pictures and she delivered the look I wanted-complete with luxurious mink lashes!   I had a destination wedding, so I didn't have time for a makeup trial, but that didn't matter. She NAILED IT.   I'm attaching a photo from that day, but pictures don't do her work justice.  Her makeup lasted over 12 hours; some of those hours were with me in the very hot sun melting during the wedding photography.  I was sweating, but my makeup didn't budge.She was on time and showed up to my hotel room and worked her magic. She is five out of five stars amazing. So fair. So genuine. So accommodating. Literally impossible not to love. I had my hair and makeup done for a special event and Tina did a fantastic job - she not only made me feel comfortable (this was my first time getting anything like this done) but the quality of her work was great! She did exactly what I asked for for the makeup based on a combination of reference pictures I showed her. EXTREMELY LATE on the review, but I still hope this helps anyone trying to decide on Tina. My brother's wedding took place on Black Friday 2015, and Tina Mit was our make-up artist for our side. My cousin found her after going through her reviews and after speaking with her on the phone (I'm from Ohio, but wedding was in California) I was immediately sold. She was extremely nice, understanding, and patient with us during our week long wedding fest. We are Punjabi, so our expectations were that Tina's work would do well with our Punjabi suits and other Indian/Pakistani style outfits ranging from all different styles. The outcome? She did an amazing job on our make-up AND hair styles. We still receive comments on our make-up and hair today when people look at our pictures and albums. Warning her beforehand of at least 12-20 people in need of make-up and hair services, allowed her to schedule assistants who also did an excellent job on our group. A lot of times people would cancel or take too long to get on the chair for their turn with Tina and her assistants...it still makes me roll my eyes to this day...but Tina was very patient and cool with it! She even tries to properly engage in a normal conversation with the person in the chair, which is a quality other make-up and hair artists should take note on! She also knows how to improvise and choose the best look for her client when they have NO IDEA what they want (guilty!). We originally booked her for 3 major events Thanksgiving week: the engagement on Tuesday, wedding on Black Friday, and reception on Saturday. Due to an extremely unexpected death in my sister-in-law's family, we were on the verge of canceling everything last minute (the death happened just 5-6 hours after the engagement ceremony) ...Tina was extremely patient with our last minute notifications of her possibly losing work, and didn't penalize us in anyway (deposit, etc.). In the end, the reception was canceled, however, the wedding was still on and Tina and her assistants were on time and prepared for the drama that awaited them at 2-3 am :') THANK YOU!! I believe my cousin has or will also be posting a review on Tina's work during our wedding and I hope she will have some pictures to go with it. I will hopefully be able to edit my review later on and post some pics of how Tina set up my face and hair (LOL)...for now I hope this review helps someone figure out what kind of professionals Tina and her crew are.... because boy are they freaking amazing! This review is over due but nevertheless, all I can say is that TINA was theeee BEST! A friend of mine initially contacted Tina for hair & make-up on my upcoming engagement photo session and wedding, and she was very easy to deal with and talk to. She responds right away to my texts/questions, no matter how late it was. Tell her what you want, and she'll make it happen for you!Tina's work pictures at yelp made me think that she might be really expensive, but her services were actually affordable! Tina was very accommodating to me for my engagement make up session (she even made me tea). I am one of those that if you put too much make up on, I would look like a clown. I have to be honest, during the make up session, I was kinda looking at myself on the mirror and thought that the make up was too thick on my face or too strong, but when I stepped out of her house and saw myself in daylight,  the make up look very natural! I hired Tina to do my hair/makeup for my wedding day. She was communicative and patient throughout the whole process. In fact, she actually did two trials for me, because I wasn't sure what I wanted the first time around. Additionally, i have multiple skin allergies which make me a complicated client, but Tina was patient and careful/selective with the products she chose to use on me. She is a talented artist, and still so young, so I am excited to see where goes with her career! Her prices are beyond fair, and in fact, a bargain compared to the average price of a wedding makeup/hair artist. I am hiring her for myself, my mom, and my four bridemaids for makeup/hair. Tina, you truly are an artist!!!  You were able to work on two little girls and make them look more gorgeous!  The long, curly thick hair was converted into a beautiful bun.  The thin, straight hair was converted into a beautiful curly hair do.   Let me tell you that the do's stayed on through 90 degree weather and into the evening with tons of dancing and running around.  I recommend you 1,000%.  My eyes looked fabulous too!
