I cannot stress this enough, but Time For You have been fantastic. Lorraine visited the home and put my mum very much at ease. My mum's quality of life has been so improved and she enjoys having Faith visit to clean, who is doing a fantastic job and always respectful. Given that mum was very reluctant to have a cleaner, her opinion has completely turned around. We cannot thank Lorraine and Faith enough. I live in Cheshire and it's so good to know Mum's home is being taken care of. Mum lives in Northern Ireland. All the family are so grateful and wholeheartedly recommend. I couldn't be more grateful to Time for you Dundee for helping with my Dad's flat. He is getting on a bit and we live over an hour away. Time for you were amazing. Alan met us at dad's flat and we went through everything together with dad and Alan. Within 24 hours we had all the details of dads new cleaner who started the next week. She is simply brilliant and comes to dad's every week to strip his bed and make a new one. In between this she cleans for two hours. Dad is soo happy and so are we. Sarah is just a god send. I am extremely disappointed in this company. I contacted the company initially as I know that the town I live in is quite far from the depot. After assuring me that the area was covered I met with Alan and he again assured me that there were several cleaners who would cover this area. The service sounded excellent and Alan seemed extremely professional so, feeling impressed and encouraged, I proceeded to sign the contract and provided my bank details. I was assured at this point that no money would be taken until I had a confirmed start date with a cleaner. Alan then contacted me less than two days later to say he had linked me with a cleaner and she would be in touch.Well... The days ticked by and I hadn't heard anything so I contacted Alan again and he apologised, and said he would chase up the cleaner immediately. Just a miscommunication, I thought, no problem. Well that was the first of many I'm afraid to say. A few more days passed with no communication and then on checking my bank account I noticed that nearly 80£ had been taken for a 13 week block. I again contacted Alan who provided me with the details for the cleaner so that I could Contact her myself. Well when I did (and she was very nice on the phone) she had no idea who I was and had been given the details of a completely different customer!! She then said that she would be in touch shortly when she had figured out who I was. And as per standard for this company, again I was left to be the one chasing this up a few days later when she had not been in Contact. Then after he looked into it the cleaner told Alan that it was basically not worth her time to come all the way to my area for two hours a week. Honestly the communication both internally and externally of this company is abysmal. After that, Alan said that actually there were no cleaners available for the area and I could either go on a waiting list or receive a refund. So I opted for the refund after pretty much feeling fed up with the company. Provided my bank details and then..... Surprise surprise... Radio silence. I contacted Alan again two weeks later to say I had not received a refund and he assured me that it would be paid the following day. Well now its nearly one week on and I still haven't had a refund and nobody seems to care. I understand I am a small and insignificant customer to you but as a mother to a young baby I could really have done without the stress of Continually chasing when nobody really seemed that interested. complete waste of time More...

Avoid at all costs as it will cost you dearly! My wife had just given birth to our baby son and needed help at home with cleaning and ironing. Time For You promised the same regular cleaner (never happened) and took £154 deposit for their up-front admin charges. The two different cleaners sent were awful, poor ironing and the cleaning was so bad that I had to re-clean the house after their visits. One of the cleaners even hoovered around shoes left on the floor without moving them! We cancelled the contract within 3 weeks but Emma the manager from TFY refused to hand back the admin charge which covered 3 months. A truly awful experience. Having had a couple of poor experiences with cleaners we were looking for a dependable company and Time for you was suggested by a friend. From the beginning we were very impressed by the friendliness and professionalism of Lesley and her team. Our first cleaner left because she found another job with hours that suited her better, but both she and our second one were excellent, did the job, couldn’t be faulted and were a delight to have in the house. Because of Covid we have not had a cleaner since March but as soon as we feel ready to have someone back in the house we will definitely contact Time for you again. After a chat at my home I completed the DD mandate for a quarterly charge (£126.50) and agreed to a weekly clean costing £30 payable direct to the cleaner. The cleaner sent to me had absolutely no idea how to clean. My kitchen was completely untouched as were a lounge and two children's bedrooms. Toilets had also been avoided as had most surfaces. In fact all that I could see was that a rug had been hoovered and a TV cabinet wiped down. I had already paid the lady in question in cash before I looked around as I had been told by this company that they fully vetted and that they trained their staff. The lady in question also I realised had only been there 2 and a quarter hours instead of the 3 that had been agreed and billed for. I immediately took photos and sent them to Time For You. The response I got was an admission that after my original cleaner cancelled they sent a young lady who they had not trained and had not worked for them before. They admitted that she was due to do a clean under supervision the next day to check her ability. I asked to cancel my contract and for my money back as I had completely lost faith. I have after a week had my direct debit refunded however they refuse to refund the £30 as I am expected to "take it up with the self employed cleaner I paid". I have asked what on earth the £126.50 admin charge is for if not to be the intermediary in a situation like this but have had no response. My advice is to save yourself an "admin fee" and employ a cleaner yourself! More...

Unfortunately I was not at home on first Consultation and they persuaded my partner to sign a 3 month contract unknown to him. I’ve had to pay £117 in administration charges just to cancel after one clean. I think the £3.50 they charge hourly is not warranted as I don’t see what service the administration provide. More...

Some guy and round and binned me into signing a blank page pretending it wa so his boss would know he’s been. Yne. Later my missus got a copy of a contract Thai I signed and I’d agreed to pay him 3 months up frot. I looked at reviews what happens is they don’t turn up and when you ask for your money back you get blanked. I signed a blank page on an I pad I was conned in to it. He diss not show me any contact and said it was for his boss to see he had been. A snidey trick. I signed up with Time for you North with Amanda and Shaun, really friendly pleasant people who totally understood what I required and sent me Jackie. ..the Jedi of cleaners. She is a total godsend and has made my home lovely fresh and tidy. The kitchen and bathroom have never looked so good. My carpet is immaculate. Jackie is v indepth and takes the time to get all items moved, cleaned and out back. She is friendly and easy to talk to and a credit to the firm. To avoid any cross contamination we use our clients products, this means our clients get the specific products they like and are familiar with used in their home rather than generic products used by some other services

I love getting the right match between cleaner and client, before I started this company I really struggled to get a good cleaner from a reputable company - so it means a lot to me to be able to achieve this for others now. I really enjoy meeting my clients and getting a chance to understand their specific requirements. Its great to hear all the lovely feedback, we do try and get most of our testimonials updated on the website!

I wanted to run a business that is personal enough to deliver a really good level of service, somewhere everyone is happy to work and that is flexible. I saw a need in Edinburgh and Lothians for a really good cleaning service and wanted to be the person who could deliver on that need.

That's a good question, I guess the main reason is that we do take our job seriously. Having a cleaner come into your home is a really personal thing which is why we meet both our clients and cleaners in their own home. We listen to any feedback and we are very quick to resolve things if for any reason a client isn't happy. Another reason is because we have a really loyal client base who have been with us for years because of the good job we do for them. We always aim to do our very best for every client who comes to us regardless of the number of hours they want each week or fortnight - EVERY client is important to us.
