Thrive Fitness has two immaculate locations with the best equipment and props suitable for all levels of one's fitness journey. Med balls, kettle balls, weights, rowers, boxes, trxs, rings, aerial swings, tons of bars etc. Meredith is a wonderful trainer and stays abreast on trends, research, and is always pushing herself to be a better coach, mentor, and trainer. I speak from experience working with Meredith from weight loss, strength training, and diet- she's seen me through all of it and been a constant source of support in my wellness life. There's nothing better than having a person like this in your life. Thrive and Meredith keeps you committed, healthy, and strong! I think of it as preventative care! More...

I love Thrive Fitness!!! Meredith, the owner, is smart, supportive, challenging and just a great trainer overall. She's been working with me through an injury and has both helped me to create a strength program and helped to implement my physical therapist recommendations. It's nice that she is flexible with her time and her expertise. I've had trainers in the past that wouldn't even touch you with an injury....and while Meredith isn't a Physical Therapist (and she always stresses this point to me/encouraged me to see a Physical Therapist ) she can work with you within the confines of your recovery. She always has awesome food recommendations too! She's awesome and adorable! More...

Lost 8 pounds, 3% body fat, and BMI down ~3 points from 127 to 119 lbs in 2 months. Training with Meredith is addictive and every session we push gradually harder to keep my body working! Have a fitness goal and a willpower to get there? Meredith WILL get you there. More...

My wife and I trained with Flex Fit during a vacation in Bend. Meredith created fun, challenging and customized workouts for us to keep in shape while we were there. I really wish we had a trainer like her at home.
She has a very good attitude and is knowledgeable about nutrition. My wife is trying to get back in shape after awhile off, and Meredith was caring and supportive. She recommended some workouts and meals that we will continue to use at home.
We highly recommend Flex Fit!

Q&As

The simple fact of having a standing appointment every week tends to keep clients on track. Setting small, attainable goals that are realistic helps as well. Often times other aspects of life are ignored (stress management, hormones, and nutrition), I remind and encourage clients to address those issues as well.

In my opinion, the body of your dreams focuses on what the body can do instead of how it looks, if you can play with your kids/grandkids, if you manage a day of skiing or hiking. Putting more focus on strength allows some of the stress of getting to a certain pant size disappear and we end up participating in exercise for how it makes us feel.

I love hearing things like “I went hiking with my family and I didn’t have to take as many breaks” or “my back doesnt hurt anymore” or “I sleep so much better”.

I intially went to school for Nursing and was required to take a nutrition course. I was fascinated by how the body can be healed through nutrition and other holistic measures. Personal training was a foot in the door in the industry and the rest is history.

I think I provide more than just personal training. I provide an ear to listen about your day. I provide a plan, encouragement, and direction. I have dealt with many health issues and through that, I feel like I can guide someone to a healthier more fulfilling life. Often times that includes other professionals such as acupuncture, naturopaths, nutritionists, books etc.
