Although we did not stay in the hotel we stopped for dinner and it was such a great meal. To start we had their boneless wings with chipotle, and with the first bite I could tell that the sauce was homemade and it was delicious. For main course we had their fisherman's platter with haddock, scallops, shrimp, and a homemade crab cake grilled or fried. We had grilled and it was amazing everything had great seasonings. We also got their bacon cheese burger which had great flavor and had a bit of a charred flavor which only added to the great taste. To end the night we got their chocolate brownie sundae which was also amazing, the brownies tasted like they were just made. Before we left we had to ask for another order of their wings to go because of how amazing their homemade sauce was. We stopped here mostly because we had a coupon, and were in the area for an event. First, we started with drinks on the taphouse side. The prices were reasonable, and all the locals were friendly. We moved over to the restaurant for dinner and because it was Saturday, they were offering Prime Rib buffet. Given the price, we weren't expecting much, but were more than pleasantly surprised when we went up to the tables. A fresh and delicious salad bar with amazing homemade pickles, incredibly juicy friend chicken, pasta, rice, mashed potatoes with yummy gravy and the biggest cut of prime rib I've gotten, even from a steakhouse. We topped ours with fresh au jus and horseradish sauce. Everything was wonderful! We couldn't say it enough, and every bite one or both of us would "Mmm." We stayed here on the way back from Binghamton after a night baseball game. The motel was adequate and very reasonable, dated in the way you would expect. The gem was breakfast - and we sat (unknowingly) in the bar which was a treat. The food was classic diner breakfast and very well served, while the whole time the bar was filled with energetic folk having drinks early in the morning. Super fun!
