We have used Thomson Removals on 3 separate occasions when moving house and have always found them to be very professional from first point of contact. The staff are courteous and helpful with advice and suggestions to make your move as smooth and stress free as possible. The guys who arrived to do the removal were polite, hard workers but most importantly careful with your possessions. Robert and Fraser were absolutely amazing on the day and were my heroes. They turned what was an extremely stressful and emotional situation into a fun day. The boys from the minute they arrived took control of absolutely every little detail. They worked relentlessly, and they could not have done any more than they did, so much so that my stress levels went from ‘100 to 0’ upon their arrival as they made me feel at ease and said to sit back and relax that they are now in control and nothing was a bother to them.These guys are worth their weight in gold, they both went above and beyond what I would have expected from any other removal company. They were my knights in shining armour and really did save the day. We moved from Gloucestershire to the Isle of Arran. The office staff are friendly, professional and sort out any worries or concerns really quickly. I can't praise the two men that they sent enough, they coped with everything (even including having to sail from Claonaig instead of Ardrossan). Cheerful and very hard working. Great company to deal with, from start to finish they were consummate professionals. Very well priced and despite the complexity of the job (moving from 2 homes in different areas into a new home), they made it easy for us. The staff were really friendly, helpful and worked their socks off. Used this firm in January for the third time in two years. Our first move was from London to Ayrshire and we found their quote very competitive and their service and care second to none. An easy decision to use them for or second move to Glasgow again faultless service and great communication. Our most recent move required us to use storage for three weeks In between moves. Thomson loaded our goods into containers and stored them for us until we needed them offloaded again. Their quotation for this was again cheaper than all the others. So helpful and accommodating throughout. Started off hiring 3 crates which we filled ourselves. The crates were exactly as described and with everyone being so helpful and accommodating. ..we filled them and even visited for a few bits n bobs through the 3 or 4 months we had them. We emptied one of the crates ourselves and then the other 2 were delivered with no trouble or fuss a month later.Everything went really well and with the nice touch of a ‘New House’ card delivered too, I couldn’t fault a thing.Been recommending to everyone I can and will definitely use Thomson again. ESTIMATION AND REMOVAL INTO STORAGE - professional visit by estimator who arrived when appointed. Friendly efficient packers who took great care of possessions and worked quickly. STORAGE - reasonable costs and timely invoicing. Possessions in storage for just over a year.DELIVERY FROM STORAGE TO NEW ADDRESS - arranging delivery was easy with friendly, helpful team. Delivery arrived on time and was unloaded/moved into new house professionally and efficiently again by friendly removers. No damage to or deterioration of possessions during storage, transit or delivery.
