When I first started planning my wedding I didn't even think about having a videographer until I watched a family members wedding from a few years ago and that made me think about looking into getting one.

When I first started to look it was a bit overwhelming as there are so many videographers- who do you trust to do a good job? Also I found that there were a few videographers out there charging sky high prices that did not match their quality of work shown.
Then I came across Thompson Wedding Videography and found exactly what I was looking for... Becky was discreet but able to catch absolutely everything I asked her to.
I barely noticed the cameras on me through the whole day which was perfect as I don't like a lot of attention focused on me and a camera shoved in my face is the worst thing you could have done!
Becky offers quality service, regular contact which I found handy, fairly priced and perfectly professional.
I have recommended her to a few of my friends and will most definitely be recommending her in the future as well.

We weren't originally going to have a videographer and changed our mind just a few weeks before our wedding after watching some great films online. We came across Becky and got in touch as we loved the previous videos she had created. It was the one of the best decisions we made! From start to finish Becky was a dream to work with - she came to the house we were staying in in the lead up to the wedding to meet us and understand what we wanted to capture from our video. She really understood the style we were going for and the video she created for us perfectly captures every element of our day. We have watched it countless times and it is the best way to relive the day. One thing we were worried about was the feeling of having a whole entourage of people with videographer/photographer etc. but Becky was so unobtrusive and lovely to have around it didn't feel at all like that and loads of guests didn't even realise we had a videographer, showing how naturally she fitted in. The film was beautifully put together and shows what a happy day it was, with so much laughter! Can't thank you enough Becky, we will treasure our film forever! More...

Becky was so unobtrusive on our wedding day, with many guests not knowing we had one. Because of this we have many natural shots of our guests and a memory we will treasure forever! We were in debate as to whether to have a videographer but the highlights we have is better than we ever could have imagined! Yesterday we received our wedding video in the post, lovingly edited and put together by Becky. Watching the day back was so emotional, it was lovely to be transported back to our wedding day. It was a truely beautiful video.
On the day Becky was a star, she was completely professional and made sure she was in the right place at the right time to capture the day, without getting in the way of our guests.
We are so glad we went for a videographer, we wavered over this decision as it was an additional expense, however I believe this was one of the best things we spent our money on. I would absolutely recommend a videographer for every wedding and you can’t get any better then Becky.

well this review deserves more than 5 stars, I honestly can not thank Becky enough, she truly is very talented at what she does, I booked her based on reviews alone, we're not from Dorset but i had my wedding in Weymouth on new years eve, living in south Shropshire it was difficult finding a videographer that i wouldnt be able to meet until the big day, i came across Thompson wedding films and instantly knew i wouldnt be disappointed and i certainly wasnt, she captured the whole day beautifully and so many magical moments i didnt notice, the video she did shows a perfect example as to why we love weymouth so much, she was very discreet, not like many weddings ive been to in the past and the photographers & videographers are too in your face, i highly recommend them for any event, all our friends & family, even ones that couldnt be there on the day have complimented how brilliant the video is, you only have to look at her work to know you'll make the right decision booking them, many many thanks becky, your amazing!
