Great wee place! Cocktails are usually amazing, although this time we had to take them back as they forgot to blend it with cream it seemed, the bar tender seemed confused when we pointed this out to him and he didn't know there was cream in a pina Colada, even though it's in the description. If you are visiting the Westend, Thirst has to be on the top of your list of bars to visit! We were playing a gig in London and wanted to have a drink to celebrate and after visiting a couple of bars that left us disappointed (I had to take out a small mortgage to pay for the modest rounds that I had ordered and the snooty staff we encountered), we came across the little gem that is Thirst. The drinks were reasonably priced and delicious to boot, the bartenders were very attentive (even put up with our guitarist who has an obsession with having a million limes in his Sipsmith and tonic!) and Ruben the manager made us feel so welcome (I think us as a band may have a little man-crush on him) and has to be hands down, the nicest manager you will meet in London! No Westend snobbery and robbery here, Thirst is a great little bar with awesome staff and great drinks that you don't have to sell your gran for. Highly recommended! More...

It was my friend's birthday party. We got there around 9:30pm Saturday night and it was totally empty. The DJ was playing mix of music which was cool cause everyone could find something to dance to. Within 2 hours it got so busy that was difficult to move around and they still let people in! Didn't enjoy that bit as was more annoyed rather than having fun (our table was just next to the bar so many people were just literally standing on our seats and coats to get the bartenders' attention!). Love this place! It’s my go-to for any group of friends. The staff are so accommodating and will go out of their way to make sure you have a fun evening. The drinks are exceptional- literally the best Gin and Tonic in London- served to perfection in a goblet bowl that just makes the taste pop. But above all - The music and the vibe are epic. We always end up dancing to the classics, they play the best tunes! I don’t think I’ve ever managed to go for ‘one’... you just end up meeting the best people who leave pretentious at the door. Quite fun for after work drinks that turn into a bit of a dance. Perhaps a bit chavvy as a drunken guy kept it on with my friend who perceived this as unpleasant.
