Deliciously good food. Great cocktails with an Indian twist and the rasmallaoi and chai to end, perfect!
Great food and good value for money. The Tiffin Truck is undoubtedly one of the best Indian restaurants in Cambridge and in UK. Masala Chaas and Masala Chai were to die for. So were Masala Kulcha and Chole Bature.Would love to visit again. More...
Tiffin Truck is one of the best Indian restaurants in Cambridge. Food was very delicious with authentic Indian flavour. Very friendly and welcoming staffs with prompt service. Vibrant ambiance, great value for money. More...
Great authentic food for a decent price. It does get busy...
The best restaurant I’ve eaten at in Cambridge with good atmosphere
Excellent staff and authentic Indian food with good background Bollywood music. I definitely recommend this place.
I hope to has a branch in ( Saudi Arabia )
Good, traditional goodness food. Slightly pricey for what you get. But great trading food
Wonderful people providing an efficient and friendly service. Good food with some moderation to suit international palates without over Anglification. "Free WiFi" turns out to be free only to BTOpenzone members but hey who requires WiFi when out dining with family and friends :-) More...
Good variety of choices will come back and recommend to friends
Highly recommend to everyone and anyone. The Krispy Kale Chaat is maybe the best thing I’ve ever eaten.
First time here and it was fab. Food great.
Great food, something a bit different, lovely service, all-in-all excellent!
Very good quality food and the price was very reasonable and not expensive. Highly recommended
Excellent food but there is always opportunity to improve.
Portion size was small compared to price. Garlic Naan : 3 star as it was small and garlic was missing. Butter paneer : 4 star, could have been little less sweet. Vada pav : 1 star total waste of money. It was sweet bun with patty made of Dosa masala and sweet chutney. It was like a sweet burger. Mini Dosa : it was only item which sounded good. Sambar could be improved, it tasted like Moog dal. Still I would go for 4 star because of price and portion size. Service was acceptable. Staff was not curtious but not rude also ☺️. They were poker faced all the time. Just smile and say hello. Overall I would give 4 star. More...
Really like this place. Great food and value, sharing 4 starters between two people worked well. Service was fast and friendly.
Had a great lunch for £9.95Definitly will be going back againGood food and fast friendly service, ideal for a lunchtime dash
Fantastic food and brilliant customer service.
nice authentic food ..always tasty and service is good.
Interesting food. Not greasy and good, polite staff

This. Place. Has. Everything. Indian food. Great value. Maury Povich.Joking aside it's delicious. And the meals are something a bit different too.
Very spicy food (even for mild options) yet very tasty.
Good Indian food
Limited menu but tasty food.
Lovely ambience, great food, wonderful people at service. Best Indian restaurant in Cambridge by a long way! Visit Cambridge, visit Tiffin Truck :)
Delicious fresh tasting food and very friendly staff! One of the best Indian meals I've had in a long long time. Great value for money and interesting cocktails too.
Rowdy, crowded & took a while to be noticed but once I was in the system, I was well taken care of and my tandoori chicken with roti was simply delicious...
Very tasty food with some unusual and authentic Indian dishes and drinks on the menu. The crispy kale chat was very good indeed. Good atmosphere and service once we were seated. My only thought for improvement was that we had to wait ages to be seated, even though we'd booked and there were plenty of empty tables. Otherwise a very good evening. More...
We really enjoyed to eat there, food were really tasty, fresh and delicious. If you have the possibility to eat here, just get it! :)
We reached this place in the peak evening hours of weekday in a group of 20.We preordered most dishes and every single thing that was ordered was so tasty.I have very high standards for Indian food and don’t appreciate it easily (as I can cook well myself ) but I can tell you if you try their kale chaat, vada pav,jal jeera, masal dosa, dal makhni, you won’t be disappointed. It’s good food with balanced flavours and I really enjoyed every bite here. The staff is kind and helpful and tries to serve fast enough.Overall a great experience, would recommend it to anyone searching good Indian options in Cambridge More...
Great food and cool cozy environment. Dined here twice with my family whilst in Lovely Cambridge for 3 days. Highly recommend the Chicken 65 - want to make it at home. Quick service and great food.
One of the finest Indian restaurant in the town with a minimal menu but excellent quality and taste. I would recommend you to visit once

Great place, my favorite Indian restaurant in Cambridge! All the food is excellent, and the lunch boxes are very good.
Best authentic Indian food in Cambridge. Decent prices. Excellent service. Would likely go again.
The food tasted it like it should unlike other indian restraunts also has a good vibe to it with its themes
Great Indian food. Very authentic. Service was good. Surprised they had an Indian wine that went nicely with the food. Would definitely recommend.
Awesome Indian food in cambrdige...
Amazing food, reasonable price, and friendly staff! Will come back again. :)
Fantastic flavor, textures and prices. I wish I could find a way to reproduce this at home. Definitely my favourite Indian place in the UK.
Food was amazing, just small request pls keep mouth fresher as in Indian culture after food they serve it.
Very tasty food and good service. Try the sambar. Skip the alcohol free Cobra.
Food is amazing, the portion sizes looked a little small but we felt full by the end so much have been enough! Service and atmosphere could be better, hence 4 stars instead of 5
delicious indian food ever.,friendly and attentive staffs.,try some indian cocktails. delicious and refreshing.,can’t wait to go back again
Lovely place with some great food to discover with friends and family.
Liked it, nice curry.
Great tasty food and excellent service.
Authentic and delicious Indian food with a friendly staff. Enjoyed the lunch here (including Vada Pav and Masala Tea)
Fabulous Indian food
Good food, super taste ... Lovely environment
Have a good Indian food here guys, taste is good.
Excellent street food and great staff!
I had the Chettinad Dosa and Kozhi varutha curry. Both were delicious. The staff was exceptionally welcoming and attentive. Great experience all around. Easy walk from the Hilton. More...
Very enjoyable evening! Buzzy and busy on an otherwise dull Wednesday evening. Food was superb, service with a smile. Will definately be back - what a welcome newcomer to the cambridge food scene.
The food was delicious and the staff were delightful. About time cambridge had some good Indian food.
Great place...Very authentic... Highly recommended.
Great Indian food with all the dishes I’ve tried being delicious. Even getting home delivery the food is still good
This is an Indian food restaurant where you can also get drinks and Indian sweets. I liked the interior decoration that they have tried to give you more of the Indian experience. However, I found the portion size to be a bit smaller than the what I usually get in other Indian restaurants, but it is justified by the price. It is an affordable option. More...
The food tasted amazing! The staff were really lovely but the the portion size was a little small. The drink however was lovely! I had the strawberry and chilli lassie and I highly recommend it! More...
As an Indian I think the 5 stars are justified. However, I would urge more local guides (non-indians as well) to try out their food. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did and you leave great reviews so as to encourage people from all nationality visit this restaurant. More...
Excellent! Lots of great dishes. Service was slow due to how busy the restaurant became. I would defiantly go back.
Good Ambience. Great food..

The food is great chai is must
5 star food, 5 star service and at an affordable price. Would highly recommend this restaurant.
Nice place for quick and.authentic food
Quite a good selection of Indian 'Tiffin' stuff.
Great food and service.
One of the best Indian meals we've ever had. Truly unique experience and definitely going to come back
Delicious food! Great choice
Very good staff, tasty fppd but the portions are quite small for the price. £78 for 3 adults.
Delicious southern Indian food with great service. We had a wide range of dishes across the menu and they were all very tasty - Particularly recommend the dosa starters and the malabar paratha makes for a lovely accompaniment to the mains. Not quite 5 star as the gulab jamun should have been served a bit warmer and the temperature in the restaurant was a bit too chilly for us to be fully comfortable. However would definitely recommend this place for the great food! More...
Saw a queue outside The Tiffin Truck the previous night whilst sitting in Pizza Hut. Now I know why! Good service and great tasting food. The menu was limited for vegetarian options. I ordered the Dosa on 21/2/19; portion size was filling. Also ordered a burger which was very spicy. If you need authentic asian flavours and a kick you'll certainly get it here! (Think Nando's very hot-extra hot spice level!) As far as I know this is not halaal... but check with The Tiffin Truck dudes. The Tiffin Truck needs to travel to London (Stratford!) and open a branch there please :o) More...
Nice food. Not your average Indian. Only place to get paani Puri in Cambridge, and many items on the menu are unique in Cambridge. We'll be back!Edit: we went back. It's still excellent! More...

Decent Indian place .. not all dishes are authenticly Indian.
good quality food, bery good prices, very nice waiting staff.very pleased!: )
I have been here twice now and loved it both times. I had the prawn dish (Malabar Connection I believe it's called) on both occasions and it's delicious. Complimented well with pilau rice and a naan bread. Portion sizes are perfect and staff are welcoming and friendly. I will definitely be coming back. More...
Lovely staff. Good price for paneer butter masala. Delicious food!
Thoroughly enjoyed eating Indian fast food esp. gulab jamun. Vada pav though different from the Mumbai one was also delightful. Also kudos for maintaining top level cleanliness unlike the other Indian eateries on the same street. Though I do understand why the subcontinent customers may not like it so much. The food is definitely less spiced and salted than what we are used to back home. More...
Good food, good service. Offers a range of interesting dishes - slightly limited menu but good variety. Particularly enjoyed the pineapple curry and the Chicken and Coconut dish, as well as the traditional Indian sweets for dessert. I would recommend ordering more rice than you normally would - the sauces are excellent but quite liquid so you need a little more to soak it up. More...
Delicious and friendly!
Lovely food but remember rice or bread is charged separately. Lamb jalfrezi was delicious, service was good and a low key but nice atmosphere.
Excellent food, friendly service and reasonable prices.
I love the food there, especially the kalamari fry! my all time favourite
Very nice food, quick and friendly service
Great food and street dubha atmosphere
Amazing veggie/vegan menu and attentive staff. Can tell the food is made with care.
Good food and service
Vibe of this place is nice. i went there to eat some quick snacks and desserts and loved it !!! Authentic Indian taste... simple awesome...
Finally Cambridge has a great Indian place - it was about time!!!The food is amazing. The fried kale starter is to die for. I love the colourful design without any massive amount of gold decorations. The service is friendly, attentive and fast. It is however not on the cheap side of Indian food but worth it. You should book a table as this place gets really crowded - only showing how much people already love it! More...
The best South Indian food in Cambridge...actually the best food in Cambridge ❤️
Great food and friendly staff. A little cold in there so wrap up but otherwise great.
Unbelievably good, authentic Indian food. Can't recommend enough.
Very good Indian cuisine
Very tasty food at a very good price.
Pleasant lunch quick service and not too expensive. Loved crispy kale salad it s amazing!!
Excellent Indian food in the centre of Cambridge. Particularly recommend the kale chat
Overall that is a high standard place. They can meet the most of high demands. But it doesn't take to be an exceptionally high standard person to know that it's not Biryani that you're getting but a Brown Pilaf. Visit any of places where Tiffin is still being used by wives regularly. Learn how to cook Biryani. Apart from that the place is pretty good. There are numerous immeasurably worse places, so this one is doing pretty well.I give 4 stars while being extra strict. Otherwise it would be an easy 5. More...
Great food, friendly staff
really interesting spices, yummy Chat, recommended as songwriting different
Delicious food! Amazing, will be back
Excellent food, very good service, bit of a twist on the normal, in a very good way. Looking forward to going back
Malay Kanti Mridha
Good selection of dishes.
Fantastic south Indian flavours in a casual setting. Reasonably priced. Especially good for vegatarians.
Magnificent place, serving a smallish choice of utterly delicious food from all over India.
Great tasting fresh curries, dahls and amazing dosas!! Great service and friendly staff. We phoned ahead trying to book a table of 20 with just an hours notice and they accommodated us perfectly and the food all came out together. Thanks to all the team!!!
Wow, the most different Indian food I have had for a while. Very tasty. Minimal decor. Great service. Service was good they couldn't do enough.our bill was £60 for 3 of us and we were full. I liked the starters best. Lots of small dishes with interesting tastes. More...
Remarkable place. Delicious unpretentious Indian food served in a nice restaurant by friendly staff.
The food was as Indian as it could get. Loved it! :)
Great Indian food and the staff is also very polite. Really give it a try, to those who are reading my review.
Recommend ordering a few dishes and sharing - fantastic value for money. Much of peshwari & chickpea & dosa love x
Excellent authentic food and polite service. If you are not into spicy stuff, you may wish to ask the waiters for advice.
Awesome Indian food in Cambridge
Amazing food and cool decor. The staff are friendly if you give them some time, they seem disinterested at first.
Ok type of food if compare with real Indian food
Good service, delicious food. Wait time was a bit long between courses.
The hot-from-the-oven naans are scrumptious.
Patricia Andrews Fearon
Good cakes and hot chocolate
Very tasty food
Great Indian classics, trendy drinks and mango lassis...what more could you ask for?
We waited a while for our food as the place was very busy as it was a Saturday evening. Well worth the wait. Very good food indeed and freshly made. Well spiced. Just wonderful. The staff were very friendly and couldn’t have been more helpful. Will definitely eat here again. More...
Went in with 3 other chaps, treated nicely by staff, menu was small (which is good!) we had 2 each of the small bites (tapas) which without exception were delicious. Quick friendly service, we had beer and wine too. All came to less than 20 quid each. Bargain! would certainly go again. More...
I different twist on Indian food, very interesting menu and good tasty food. Will definitely be going back
Excellent food and service. A real taste of India
Good service and lovely food. A small menu, which makes a change from the usual Indian restaurants with their 50+ choices. The kale chaat was delicious. They have a set lunch which is not on the menu but was just right for us. More...
Excellent food and service. Very nice environment.
Best garlic naan I’ve ever had. The food is delicious and friendly staff. Definitely coming back!
Really delicious food.
very nice Indian food
Great food. Service is a little haphazard but friendly staff.
Honestly, one of the restaurants that leave you happy all-round. First of all, the design is very cool and attractive. From the moment you walk in, you will feel welcome and looked after. The staff is extremely friendly and professional in a very unpretentious, easy-going way. The food is lovely as well. More...

Excellent food and service!
Food was really great, tasty and well presented. An unusual range of interesting beers and ciders. Lovely atmosphere and the service was really friendly and helpful.
Me and my partner visited for a quick bite.. I highly recommend the tiffin truck as the food is amazing and cooked to perfection. The decor is relaxing but vibrant.. And i must mention the staff being very welcoming. I have eaten in many places in cambridge and the Tiffin Truck is a must and one of my favourite places .. More...

Great food, great location and great reception by staff!!
Menu is different to most Indian places which was nice, and the food was great. Pretty reasonably priced as well which is a nice bonus.
Wow! Hidden in plain sight is this authentic, inexpensive gem. Fantastc food, attentive and efficient service is a can't miss experience! Highly recommend!
very good food, fast service ! totally recommend it!
Very tradition and rustic food, a refreshing change to Indian restaurant cuisine. Loved the panagam drink and dhal, and freshly made naan bread to die for!
Very good Indian restaurant on Regent Street (another one! And apparently with an interesting back story because Regent St already has two proper Indian restaurants). They do do a few things differently, focussing on street food, and also have kati rolls, which is the first I have seen in Cambridge. Really liking this diversity in Indian food in Cambridge, giving more exposure to lesser known Indian dishes. More...
Very good Food, good customer seevice, but costly in terms of the portion size......
Great food, lovely flavours, reasonably priced. Ideal place for sharing dishes with a partner or friends, order a dishe each, some rice and naan (or roti). A nice twist on some of the drinks they serve, cocktails with Indian spices and presented nicely. Strange flavours but worth trying.A nice range of dishes, vegetarian and vegan dishes available. The menu is clearly laid out detailing where there is gluten, soy etc. It's nice going to an Indian restaurant that doesn't just have the basic dishes, nice to have some more traditional style foods available. Food was presented nicely. Staff were friendly, attentive and did not hover. We didn't feel rushed, food came out promptly. Didn't use the bathroom so can't comment. Overall, great first experience, will hopefully go again in the future. More...

Delicious and different. If only more Indian restaurants were like this.
Nice and spicy - Like it needs to be. Unlike other Britished versions. Pricey.. but you cant find another as authentic as this in Cambridge. Well, hoping there will be some competition to match up. Navadhanya is there. But for me, as a south indian from Tamilnadu, this is 'local food'. More...
Cheap, tasty, fast. What's not to like. Have no idea how "authentic" this is but it hits the spot for me!
Mild Indian street food. Tasty but portions could be more generous for the prices.
This is a new Indian street food spot in Cambridge, owned by the same folks as Navadhanya. I am very critical of most Indian food in Cambridge but this place is excellent. I had great kati rolls, paneer butter masala, roti and naan, chai, and kale chaat. It's affordable too- 4 of us had lunch, 1 beer, and 1 chai for £44 total. Great location and clean, new, feel. I will definitely be back again. I was gracious about the service as I think they are still figuring things out- they had only been open 1 week when I arrived. More...
Best biryani in Cambridge:)

Nice Indian food. I was expecting thali.
Good Indian FoodNice pots for takeaway
Food was of high quality - infact better than any Indian eatery I’ve been to in Cambridge. Portion sizes perfect. Service very courteous and prompt. The only drawback - masala chai was not warm enough. Hope they’d do better the next time! More...
Really interesting Indian food with a range of prices and sized dishes. An excellent place to go with a group so you can lots of things. The Kale Chat is delicious
Really tasty food.
Liked the food. The staff girls are friendly. The only downside is that we have to be ready with cash for meals below £15. And for dosa lovers out there: the "mini dosa" does taste good, epecially the chutney but the size is really small. I had it once for breakfast and was hungry again just after 1 or 2 hours. More...
Having lived in India, I rarely go into Indians in this country as they don't meet up to the reality. However, I was really surprised by this placs. I had the khati roll and while it's a little healthier (not a bad thing!) The taste was there. I also got a real lime soda which was perfect. I'd go back. More...
taste is fine but quantity is very less.
Quality Indian food at reasonable prices
This restaurant is one of the best Indians in Cambridge. The menu is varied, with mainly South Indian dishes - very different from the standard generic Indian restaurant in the UK. The restaurant is also much cheaper than some other options in Cambridge, particularly for lunch. Overall I was very impressed and am sure I'll go back soon. More...
Loved the food. Price is decent as well.
THE FOOD IS GREAT AND CHEAP, THE BEST INDIAN IN CAMBRIDGE? I THINK SO.. sort of a place where you have snacks and not full dinners maybe..
Food is really excellent and nice place to get Indian snacks
Scrumptious Indian food
Excellent food, spicy which is how I like it!
Kushner was lovely, food was amazing! Really fast service nice atmosphere
Great Indian restaurant with plenty of choices. Sadly food měny lacks any pictures so picking your food may be a bit difficult if don't know the indian cuisine. But food was really delicious
Srinivasa rao Pulijala
Excellent menu. Polite staff. Enjoyed the meal.
My favourite Indian restaurant in Cambridge. Really interesting, flavourful and friendly. I like it even more than it's big sister navadhanya and it's a hell of a lot cheaper! Perfect place for lunch or dinner. The service is always impressively speedy. I'm a vegetarian and there are many delicious options, particularly the paneer butter masala!! Great place for trying or many different smaller sharing dishes, tapas style! More...

Great Street food
Fantastic alternative to the usual Indian restaurants in town. Portions are a bit smaller, so think more along the lines of a tapas restaurant when ordering. On our visit we had the chilli paneer, chicken 65 (the sauce that comes with is amazing), Makai saag, bucket biryani and beef chukka. Every single dish was fresh, delicious and unique. Also, the dishes are very rich with flavours and spices without being explosive hot. We'll definitely come again. More...
What a fabulous restaurant! My better half and I went for dinner; were very happy they accepted Meerkat Meals. The staff were happy to recommend dishes and the starters, mains and desserts we had were all absolutely delicious. The waiting staff are friendly and polite. The atmosphere of the restaurant was vibrant and the world music is very good and not too loud and intrusive.. The decoration and ambience is very nice indeed. Even the toilets smell nice! Did I mention the food is incredibly tasty?I could not find a fault with Tiffin Truck and I thoroughly recommend the establishment. More...
Great food. Friendly and efficient staff.
Miellyttävä palvelu, henkilökohtainen, lapset tyytyväisiä=vanhemmat tyytyväisiä. Ruoka maukasta, kannattaa varata pöytä, jotta voi istua "kauniimmalla" puolella. Suosittelemme!
Awesome meal! We'll be back from sure.
Excellent food, friendly staff. It's a must eat place for Indian food lovers!
Really great food and a very chilled out atmosphere.
A selection of street dishes which are rarely found at Indian restaurants in Cambridge. Very interesting cocktails as well! Could improve its dessert menu with some shareable finger sweets to go with the lovely masala chai. Could also benefit from some female staff which are rarely seen in Indian restaurants (Dishoom in London is an exception, with both waiters and waitresses, and the environment is very friendly)? Anyhow, a must try. Will definitely return. More...

Staffs are brilliant. So welcoming and always were happy to serve us. Dishes were not reasonable compared with price. Could be a bit more generous. Taste of food good as well.
What a great take on Indian cuisine. Following a similar Tapas style, Tiffin Truck focuses on bite-sized meals, perfect for sharing. Their dishes are fresh and packs a tonne of flavour! There's something on the menu for everyone. The atmosphere is fresh, the colour and interior makes this place inviting and I will most definitely be visiting again. More...
The Tiffin Truck is one of finest place to have vegetarian meal in Cambridge, the place is relatively spacious, decorated with vibrant colours and clean.Although the place was very busy in evening the serving times were unimaginably shorter and food was just awsum, staff was very polite and friendly, the prices are economical and you get value for money also the portions are good enough leading to potential less food wastages.one of must go places for small tapas or full meal or dessert, my best wishes wid the team. Authentic Indian Street Food
Pour les vegetariens
Relatively cheap curry place for the centre of town. Perfectly decent fare and a little different from the usual offering so if you're in the centre and Havering between curry places, this is worth a go.
Had lunch here. Food was excellent, service good, price very reasonable. One of the top two or three Indian restaurants in Cambridge.
Not Indian food as you know it. Flavours and delicacy that transcends the usual, run-of-the-mill.
Great Indian food and cocktails. Doesn't burn a hole in your wallet.
great selection of indian snacks and full meals. great flavors, good atmosphere, good service, good selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and best of all at a reasonable price. will be back.
Food was great, nice insight into some less typical angloindian. Lunch service was a bit odd, i think we caught them at the wrong time.

Had mini dosage and was good
Excellent! Best Indian food outside of London. Fantastic. #newfavouriterestaurant
Originally, we had planned to grab lunch somewhere else, but the bright and colourful exterior of the Tiffin Truck drew us in. And I am glad that it did! The servers were very friendly and happy to provide us with advice when ordering. The food was delicious, full of flavours, and tasted very authentic. We decided to order a variety of bites, nibbles, and a main to share, which left us stuffed and happy at the end (and only £17 poorer per person). Would definitely recommend sharing a bunch of smaller plates, as that allowed us to try a bunch of different dishes that all had their unique flavours and textures. In summary - what a great addition to the Cambridge restaurant scene! The Tiffin Truck is definitely worth visiting, and I for one will definitely be eating there again. More...
Really lovely and authentic - the food took me back home. Very affordable too - a full meal with a side for £10. Delighted that the Tiffin Truck is now in Cambridge.
Visited the place yesterday. It was too crowded and we had to wait for 40 mins before placing our order. It came after 20 mins. Food was ok and not awesome or great. However the staff ppl wer very helpful and were doing their best . So 5 stars are not for the food but the service we received . They also acknowledged the fact that there was a delay in service because of busy hours. The street food items can be improved, main course was good.A nice addition for Indian cuisine in Cambridge. The food was delicious! This was my first time here and I was pleasantly surprised. The food looked good and had so much flavour. The combination of spices was perfect and the sauces were just right. I ordered two entries, one main, a side dish and two portions of rice and this was perfect for two people. I had the mango kulfi as dessert and it was great, really creamy and delicious. The menu offers something for everyone: gluten free options, vegetarian dishes and also dishes for all meat lovers. Also, they have a special menu during lunch time that looked great. I totally recommend this restaurant! More...

Wonderfully decorated, tasty treats and an excellent staff. I can't speak to the criticism that their service is slow during peak hours, as I was there all by my lonesome, but their off-hours service was timely enough for me.
I had the Chicken Tikka Curry Burger. My American-ness compels me to experience food from everywhere in the world.... in burger form. It was a very, VERY tasty treat and every bit the classed-up, quick food, lunch dining The Tiffin Truck seems to be going for. There was this bit of crunch + spice at the end, where the Tikka bits and sauce just barely remain atop the bread, which was just absolutely delightful. More...
