Thermaltricity International is my marketing brand of solar speedflex Co Ltd (HK)
It’s my years of business experience since 1976, which I am providing to those people who cannot find a person to make repairs or renew parts of their home, without having to pay huge call out charges.
I am semi retired, so have lots of spare time on my hands during most of the year, while my overseas business in China, is related to design and development in areas of solar and renewable technology.
My house in Wimborne, was installed with many energy and water saving technologies since 2001, from solar thermal, rain water harvesting, LED lighting, and using solar thermal to support my space heating of the 3 + bedroom mid terrace house.
I started in business in Bmth in 1974, as a greengrocer in Moordown, Charminster and Southbourne, before I sold up and invested in a 4 bed detached house in Charminster.
I learnt many trades, by employing tradesperson, before opening a small shop offering many services which grew into a plumbing and heating/bathroom sales and installation business.
I am known from the opening of Bathrooms of Bournemouth in 1984, until I sold the business in 1991, due to the recession.
I then opened a water and energy saving business in Holdenhurst road, which demonstrated many ways to reduce energy and water costs.
In 1993, I set up a business in Cyprus after exporting a 40ft container, including my own hot water tank design, shower tray design and a solar collector from Japan for testing + many products from manufactures to sell in Cyprus.
On my return to the UK in 1998, I established The Global Warming Solutions centre in West Parley after educating myself all about solar water heating and electricity generation from solar PV panels
This expanded into Powertech Solar Ltd, until its demises in 2009, due to the banking crises and recession
Over the past 8 yrs, I have been re investing in new ideas and technologies all related to reducing a buildings energy and water use.
