The combination of Dr.Riser's depth of education, her smarts, and her obvious desire to help people makes her by far the best acupuncturist I have been too. For two years I ran like a stick figure due to a gluteus injury. Two acupuncture sessions later and I was back to normal. A year later I had given up running without knee pain and thought I needed a knee replacement, but Doreen had me running and stepping up a 30" cube without pain in two sessions. Doreen Riser from TAW is wonderful. I scheduled acupuncture with her following pinching a nerve (horribly) in my back. She worked with me in a remarkably gentle manner, carefully assessing and accommodating my painful situation. Her care and acupuncture practice was a huge part of the healing process for me. If you are looking for a skilled and compassionate acupuncturist look no further. Dr. Riser takes a holistic approach -working on my many health concerns at once with acupuncture, acupressure and massage. I had a very different acupuncture experience prior to her. Doreen is by far a very gifted healer. She is not only an amazing Acupuncturist but she incorporates pressure point/trigger point release, massage and so much more. She is well versed in all areas and is very passionate about her work. Doreen pays close attention to your needs and really cares. I have never experienced this level of care or results. I have been to three Acupuncturists, reflexologists, massage therapists...You name it and no one has come close. Doreen is without any question the best person you could ever go to for Acupuncture. I have been to Doreen many times and she is going to make sure to get you the best results possible. She will take the time, and she has the knowledge. I have gone to her for my neck which had arthritic and degenerative disk issues. I was in a great deal of pain and needed relief. I got it! In the meantime my eczema was relieved and has been under control for a long time. I hurt my knee doing something and was walking with a limp, Accupuncture with Miss Doreen gave me relief. I cannot say enough about this woman and her dedication! At this point in my life i go routinely for a sort of wellness check up and keep myself in balance.
