My wife and I cannot recommend Michael highly enough. From start to finish he was friendly, professional and efficient. On the wedding day itself, Michael skilfully managed to co-ordinate all our guests for the "official" photos but blended into the background the rest of the time capturing the true character and emotion of our day perfectly allowing people to truly relax. Myself and my husband cannot recommend Michael enough. Unfortunately Michael did not shoot our wedding (though we absolutely wish he had), however, he edited our wedding photos and created a video of our wedding. Michael was friendly and professional and went above and beyond for us. The images he created our lovely and we are so happy with our video. If it wasn’t for Michael we feel we would not have these wonderful photos and amazing video to remember our special day. Michael, clearly edits each individual photo with time and precision! Cannot recommend Mike enough, we have so many beautiful and colourful photos of our special day! He was so kind and charming and put me to ease. We have many photos from different angles of our ceremony, but neither me or my partner noticed him during it! He has captured our day perfectly. We deliberated over a photographer for a long time, but were so glad we choose Mike and Tracey to capture our wedding day. The photographs are truly stunning and really capture the feel of the day, without the need for lots of staged photos as we wanted. I hired Mike to shoot my wedding and I had very specific requirements for him. Together with the obligatory shots of me and my wife and some group shots I was looking to get pictures of all guests with emotions - not staged shots.
Mike was accommodating from the getgo and assured me that this is his style - non-intrusive reportage.

All contact with Mike was very clear and uncomplicated. On the day he did a brilliant job - all guests I spoke to told me that he was everywhere - all the time (still not sure if he runs an army of clones). But still he blended in so people did not start to pose when he was around.

And the pictures are stunning. He nailed every shot. Thanks Mike! I am not planning of getting married again - but if I do … I will plan it around Mikes schedule! More...

So the wife and I got married on the 29th Aug 2009 we had the pleasure of Mike Gane from The FX works there to capture our day.

Fast forward 8 years and we have just been watching on our anniversary the High Def DVD that Mike created for us. It really bought the day back to life for us with Mike's expert videography and editing.

We never knew he was there, yet he managed to capture so many special moments that brought both my wife and I to tears.

We can't recommend highly enough Mike and his abilities. It was worth every penny to see our day again and to see those loved ones that are no longer with us.

Absolutely incredible. I searched long & hard to find the perfect photographer and FX Works certainly was that and much more. We have only seen 30 of our 950 pictures and are absolutely in love with them and excited to see the rest.

No words that I write will express just how happy my husband and I are with our choice of photographer and videographer. We opted for The Full Works package and both Mike and Tracy were amazing on our wedding day, they both kept us at ease, we unobtrusive and helped us relax.
