I train with Anthony and he is AMAZING. We have never done the same session twice. He is fierce, intelligent and responsive to what I am up to in my training, and in life. He is really passionate about what he does and how he does it, and is really inspiring as a trainer and a friend. I am so grateful to have him and EDPT to keep me going. I am 51 and it is not always easy to keep motivated when life and my body is in a state of change. Carter and Anthony are great trainers. I did a group of sessions with Anthony and found them challenging (in the best way) and really fun. Anthony assessed my abilities quickly and always mixed up the sessions to ensure I was working hard and always felt like I was improving. He got me into a good fitness rhythm when I felt like i was lacking direction and motivation. Carter runs the business side of things really smoothly and is always on hand with any queries. Carter was extremely helpful empathic and honest trainer who took time to understand my physical challenges and goals without judgement. Together with Antony I was pushed to work out in line with my goals, learn new exercises yet pair it back slightly when needed also. Best decision ever! The sessions with Carter are mazing! I was struggling to get back in shape after twin pregnancy. Within a few months of training I managed to get my strength and energy level back. The sessions are never the same, he adapts the training to your level of fitness and will know when and how to push you to make sure you get the most of your training . One of the best decisions I've taken recently has been to start working with Carter and his team. It has been a visible transformation for me, not just physically but mentally as well. It only took a few sessions to start noticing the difference and start feeling stronger. I would highly recommend EDPT to anyone looking to get fit, but struggling with the discipline and routine. Carter is a fantastic personal trainer, who has completely transformed my fitness levels and my physique in two short months. Sessions with Carter are always high intensity, but great fun at the same time - and throughout he always checks in to make sure you’re performing the exercises correctly, and that the level of intensity is right for you. By taking an interest in what I’m eating and regularly measuring my stats, Carter has also inspired me to keep an eye on my food intake - which has had a major impact on my progress. I was always getting injured when I did any exercise so I approached Carter at EDPT to see if he could help me get fitter and stronger without getting injured - I was allocated Anthony who was amazing at building my confidence, improving my strength and working on certain muscles so I could strengthen weaker areas which helped prevent injury. I would thoroughly recommend them to anyone looking to get in-shape. Even if you have injuries its no excuse, they can really help - may even help you save money in the long run as you can avoid the physiotherapist! More...

Carter is a fantastic PT and I’d highly recommend him. I had gym membership and never really went, it was boring and I was never really sure of what I was doing. I’ve been working with Carter for over a year now and feel physically stronger. Our sessions are tailored to me with all my aches and pains and he is able to work around them, he pushes me just the right amount and the bar Constantly moves. Every week is different. I've been training with Carter for almost 2.5 years now and without a doubt I have seen marked changes in my fitness, strength and commitment to regular exercise. I will be 83 this month. After years of on and off -- mostly off--going to the gym I decided I need the discipline Iwould get from a personal trainer. I started with Coach Carter a year ago. m Though I have always been a walker ,walking doesn't use your bodylike exercise does.I had difficulty getting down on the floor-- and getting up was a joke.After 2 weeks with Carter I could do both. That was my flrst goal achieved.Carter deosn't do gentle execises because of my age, he really works me out and I am so much stronger and my flexibilty means that I can sit on the floor cross legged, bend over and touch my toes without effort,do push ups--- and too many other excercises to name here..I feel great and it is all due to Carter.Eleanor Bennett. When I first came to Carter about a year ago, I was really, really unfit and didn't have a clue how to get back into shape. He was completely undaunted by the task ahead and immediately put me at ease. I've made rapid progress and have upped my sessions with Carter and Anthony to twice a week as I am enjoying our varied workouts so much. If you want a PT that is going to scream and shout at you, EDPT is not for you. Coach Cater is an excellent PT, I trained with him for nearly two years on a twice weekly basis and am just on a break due to the imminent arrival of my second child but will then be returning to training. As a busy working mum, I found finding time to exercise very challenging, and also getting the most out of the time I did have, Carter worked with me to improve my overall fitness and shift my extra first baby pounds. Bottom line: I highly recommend Coach Carter. Want to know why? Read on.I’ve been seeing Coach Carter aka TheEDPT once a week for sixteen months now, and the benefits are massive: my core strength, cardiovascular state, and physical shape have all improved in a way that I couldn’t achieve even when I went to the gym three times a week. My experience started out with an initial assessment, which comprised a chat about my goals, strengths/weaknesses, previous experience and a surprisingly strenuous benchmarking process. Even after just the first session proper it was clear that Coach Carter had me pretty much pegged. Coach Carter’s workouts are tough but rarely unachievable, which, for me, is key as if I kept failing I’d probably give up. Likewise if they were too easy I wouldn’t see any benefit or derive any satisfaction; so Coach Carter has a knack of hitting on a formula quickly. Coach Carter has long history of working in the fitness and training industry... and it shows; he manages to integrate an untold variety of methods and exercises, which always keeps it fresh. Crucially, Carter has an unwavering focus on correct form, which really pays dividends - not only do you get the most out of your workout, but it prevents injuries! He has also made me pay more attention to my diet. FInally, Coach Carter is a great guy - a really great guy; he’s community-spirited (evidenced by his classes for school children), professional and considerate. I have been working with coach Carter for just over 5 weeks now. I have been doing strength work and conditioning. I have found his methods to be very effective in muscle development and I can definitely feel the difference in my overall health and fitness. The secret to getting the body of your dreams, is simple. Rome was not built in a day. All good things come to those who wait. Patience is a virtue. Perseverance is key. Ever heard these phrases before? Well they all relate to getting the body of your dreams as well. Getting there will not be a sprint, more likely a marathon. Be under no illusion, it will take hard work and dedication, However with me, you can rest assured you have the best of the best working by your side. We will get there together.

I love helping people. I also have a huge passion for health and fitness and hate to see people get down, depressed, especially over weight or other fitness/health related issues. That's why I became a personal trainer. It certainly is not for the money. I truly enjoy helping people. It is rewarding seeing people achieve their goals, push past boundaries they never imagined possible.

Starting my own business was an obvious choice for me. I don' really like being told what to do. I feel confident in myself and skillset to be able to deliver the something very special for my clients.
