Thea did a fantastic job on my hair and makeup for my Sept. 2018 wedding. She also did the hair & makeup for my 3 bridesmaids and the mother of the bride and groom. She is very down to earth, kind, and fun to talk to! It was like having another girlfriend around while getting ready for your big day. She really listens to what you want and helps create that look. My mom was nervous as this was the first time she had her makeup done professionally. However, Thea put her at ease and achieved exactly what she wanted - my mom looked amazing! Rachel is a godsend! I'm very particular about how I prefer my hair to be done and how I like my eye makeup. Frankly, I always just do my own hair and makeup, because I don't want to be unhappy with the results of someone who isn't familiar with my thick curls and oily skin. RACHEL IS THE BEST. She did the hair and makeup for myself and my bridal party - for an August wedding in New Orleans. She also mastered working with some traditional Indian hair jewelry. And she works magic because our hair stayed smooth and flowy, and our makeup fresh for the entire day (even after the photos and second line march we took in the sweltering 95° heat. Miracle worker! What do you love most about your job?
I love getting to be a part of one of the most important days of my clients' lives. Wedding days can be stressful, but that energy can bring out the very best, most helpful and kind qualities in a person. I also love tapping into a client's vision, what they love visually and what they don't, until what they're seeing in the mirror matches what they had in their mind. When it all comes together, it's magical.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Getting my degree was a huge inspiration. After years of working in salons, I took a break to pursue an education at St. Edward's University in Austin. I became passionate about visual branding and owning my own creative identity. I'm also continually inspired by my children and husband. They motivate me to create my best work each and every day.

Not only am I very experienced and technically skilled in both hairstyling and makeup methodology, application, and have a deep understanding of skincare, product ingredients and how they react on living, breathing skin, I also have a long, proven track record of ecstatic brides.
