The Y Club is not just a Gym its attendes are from all walks if life. Many members have been so for years and have friends there going back decade's. It is unique in that it has a game called Rugby Fives and has two of the only Glass Backed courts in the North of England. It is a handball game similar to Squash but more physically demanding as both sides of the body are exorcised. I recommend anyone to try this very different game they just may well be surprised how tired they become playing it. It's a good little gym but needs some money spent on new equipment. The fixed weighted bars are falling apart so it's hard to know what weight they are. There was meant to be new wide pec cables arriving weeks ago but haven't appeared. Is a bonus having a pool. The staff are friendly too More...

I really love this gym! The staff are always pleasant and helpful which is one of the reasons why I decided to join here. The reception staff are always smiling and happy to help with anything !There are a great range of classes and a good sized pool which is great for me too. I absolutely love this gym it's the first one I've ever trialled and then joined. It's got great facilities, a range of awesome classes, I really enjoy the steam room and sauna after the gym, and most of all, all the members and staff are SO friendly which is what set it apart for me.

A truly great gym - friendly - members and staff speak to you. Best gym in Manchester! I've been coming here for about 5 years now. The refurbishment last year has really given the place a boost, the classes are excellent, the instructors fantastic, and all the staff are really friendly.
