This was a lovely place! I had no idea it even was here in town. I bought a basket at charity event and it had a gift certificate. I'm glad I went and took my girlfriend with me for a fun afternoon. The parking isn't great but other than that, I'd love to return. I'm curious to see what the rest of the spa looks like as the older home has so much character.... I will just have to go back! As soon as I walked in a beautiful woman greeted me with a smile, checked me in and poured a mimosa while I was filling out paperwork. My nail tech then came out and brought me into this fancy nail room. She was equally as pleasant!! I've been to a lot of different spas but this one has such a unique and elegant feel to it. I love how the staff is in all black and the style and feel of the entire experience. I worked in the service/retail industry for 10 years of my life so I know when I get great service and will be more than happy to call it out when I receive it. Earlier this month my wife and I visited the Woodhouse Day Spa for massages and a pedicure for her. I have been a client at the Spa every month since August because everything about the Woodhouse is outstanding, from the warm, greetings as you enter this old charming former home to the services offered. I have seen the same massage therapist since last summer, and she exemplifies the quality spa treatment you desire. Had a really lovely experience here for pedicures last week with my partner. The space is charming— tucked into an old house, which felt festive with the holiday decorations around. The pedicure itself was decadent: sugar scrub, hot neck pillow, seaweed wrap, attentive and friendly employees... The only part of the experience that felt a little odd was the fact that the check-in desk and spa shop are both on the first floor, next to the pedicure room and you need to walk through them to get anywhere else in the spa. Once I’ve changed into a robe I’d prefer to not have to walk through groups of people looking in the shop or purchasing gift cards. It seems like if you got other services you’d be able to change and remain on the second floor, but that wasn’t the case with the pedicures. A slightly different experience than being in a spa where you enter the spa and are able to stay in spa mode, if you know what I mean. This place was amazing. The facility is beautiful and clean. We arrived very early, and got a complementary drink and one of the best robes ever - almost asked if I could buy it! Staff were friendly and the massage therapist listened to everything I asked and brought her own skill to find what I didn't even know about. She was very attentive to my needs.
