I had a headache 6 years back with a small local company who fitted some shoddy doors at my home and then went bust (im not suprised looking at the quality of there doors), these had just about had it. My windows needed an update so i visited a couple of showrooms in Swindon, although The Window Centre is still in construction , the windows they had to show were a step above what i had seen before, and the 20 year warranty backs up the difference you can see in quality, they look just as good fitted, a very good installation with the best window we found on the market.

Snow does not stop these guys, so i didn't have an open conservatory over the weekend they sent 2 teams to get it erected in the snow, they even had to carry the glass down the road as the van wasn't able to make it all the way. The window centre have just finished my new man cave on the back of my house, the planning was brilliant with Ross, he is darts mad and we even ordered a pinball machine on ebay together while he was here, even the dog loved him. The Ashley came to install with James and i'm glad he is such a nice guy because you wouldnt want to argue with a man of his size, a really good job , the sparky did all my electrics and shuffled them all about when we started talking about what was going where, he even gave me a number of someone to install the bar cooler.A cracking finish and so helpful , they are all coming to the opening in March, hopefully i can make some of my money back on a game of poker or 2. After moving to a house in Corsham I was looking to replace a wood framed lean to conservatory as it had rotten wood and all the glazed panels had blown. .. I had a couple of quotes from local companies and a friend said why not try TWC in Swindon? I was not sure if they would travel to Corsham so I asked them if they would.James was my initial contact and was most helpful and stated that they travel all of Wiltshire and beyond. They then sent a design consultant out at a time to suit my wife and I, and he was most helpful and even suggested a great way to find more interior space without going on to my neighbours property. In addition to this, the price was comparable to the big boys and cheaper than some and it was the friendliness and knowledge of the designer and sales team that swayed our decision to go with TWC.They also said that they could do it sooner than anyone else which made me suspicious but but we thought we would have them do our conservatory anyway. As the old conservatory had rotted and the roof was rubbish we agreed to have the new roof supplied in the new Blue glass as it seemed to be the best long term option. This was our own decision and at no point did we feel pressured into it. I have to say that they then came on the appointed day to remove the old rotten room and I feared that we would then be left in limbo whilst the old excuses came out to justify delays in fitting a new one...I cannot tell you how pleased I was when they arrived again when promised to start digging footings for the new room. Like any project there are always curve balls, ours came by way of a hidden railway track in the garden which made the digging more difficult and the build was extended by a day. TWC kept me up to date with the progress even though I was at work for most of the build schedule. Once the footings were complete and had settled, sure enough the fitting team were back on site and the frame flew up whilst I was at work. Very impressed!Glazing quickly followed and once the roof was on they phoned the plasterer and electrician who fitted out the inside and accommodated our request to have additional sockets fitted with no fuss at all.Overall we are very impressed with the whole project from quote to moving in. Great Service, i had all my windows done at the front of the house about 3 years ago by these guys and some scum bag threw something or tried to beak in though the back door recently and broke the toughen glass around the back, with the return customer discount it was hard to say no to a new door , they secured my old one and had my new door made to measure by the following week, fast efficient and i would say good value.

Im one of 3 quote people, but im very proud of my home so this decision was on confidence of the company as well as he product but the price is also important. I started my project with a front door and decided on a composite, TWC had a really good range and they concentrated heavily on the security aspect and that really attracted me to use these guys, the price was as i expected and if anything a little cheaper than some of the other doors i had seen, they had no hidden extras like some of the other local companies who advertised a fitted price and then its £25 for a letterbox etc. when it came to the fitting my wife is an expert at finding things wrong , but she struggled, an expert job, i can see why they employ all of the fitters themselves to keep the high standards they deliver.I'm very impressed with TWC they have made a good start and i will continue to use them for the rest of the modernisation. I used to fit windows when i had a building firm and because of this i knew what to look for, i warned them on sale i would be a "customer from hell" and if they were not up for it then don't bother. I know ive been out of the game for some time but the window i have know surpasses anything in my era, the hinges are uprated the anti crowbar bolts are huge and it has more locks than you can shake a stick at.The fitting just as impressive, not much i could pick at even with my keen eye, 1 scratched glass that was replaced 3 days later!
