I've just had my first experience at The Westoe Practice, South Shields. I received a deep tissue massage from Natalie.I've never had any type of massage in the past so I have nothing to compare it to, but as a first experience, I'll 100% be returning. The waiting room was a pleasant little area with leaflets on show, describing all of the treatments available plus more. I loved the sounds they had playing in the background, it was like gentle waves and nature sounds which was very relaxing.Natalie took the time to explain the massage experience, she asked what I preferred, asked if I had any issues and was quite thorough with the initial consultation.The massage itself was the most relaxing thing ever! It was an hour long but throughout I kept thinking "oh no, it's finished..... Oooh no its not", I felt like I was in there for hours!Natalie was friendly, polite, lovely to talk to and she made the experience what it was.... Blooming fantastic! I honestly cannot wait to go back and see her!There isn't a single thing I can fault! I don't even have any constructive criticism because there's no area I can think of that needs improvement!The receptionists were lovely too.The massage vouchers were a mother's day gift from my son but I'll continue to visit the practice in the future anyway. So I’ve been seeing Natalie at the westoe clinic for a while now, she’s absolutely amazing I started out with massages then cavitation, facials and eyebrow tint and shape. The great thing about the clinic is it is so relaxed, clean and always smells delicious! there’s no upselling or pressure which I love. Natalie is very approachable and full of knowledge and if she dose not perform treatments your looking for then she’ll try and point you in the right direction of somebody who will be able to help, which I’ve never had in the past. She actually cares about each and every client. My skin has massively improved since seeing her and I no longer suffer with aches and pains as I did, I’ve been so impressed my sister has even began using her traverlling and hour each way to see her because she was that impressed with her services. Had the red light therapy treatment for my arthritis and can’t believe the difference. My pains have reduced dramatically and that’s just after 1 session. ! I visited the practice a few days ago now. Unfortunately I turned up to the practice 10 minutes late, I was greeted by Natalie at the door who was vey understanding, professional and friendly. The interior of the practice is amazing, clean and has a really chilled vibe throughout. I had a lot of shoulder tension particularly on the left side. Natalie was able to remove a lot of the tension through a deep tissue massage. I am a 62 year old male who was suffering quite severe pain in my knees and feet as a result of arthritis and general wear and tear from running and other sports activities. Stairs and walking were becoming a real problem and I had always been active. My GP told me it was "all about pain management" and prescribed 8 paracetemol per day. I would not accept that diagnosis and booked in with Dean for gait analysis. He almost immediately identified that the kind of running shoes I had been wearing (for decades) were wrong for me. From the gait analysis / pressure pad test, he advised inserts and correct shoe type. I also had painful plantar fasciitis in my right foot and Dean strapped this and advised on exercises for flexibility. He suggested taking apple cider vinegar in solution as a natural anti-inflammatory (instead of the paracetemol). I followed Dean's advice and 6 weeks on I am pain free and active again. I am taking the apple cider vinegar every day and cannot believe what a difference it has made. Truly amazing and I'm telling everyone to take it.Dean has a remarkable knowledge of how the body works and natural remedies. I was a bit of a cynic, but this guy knows his stuff.
