Staff is always great, rooms are always clean, and location is wonderful. Cribs are available and the dogs always leave happy too.
I do wish we could get an upgraded room occasionally (husband is 100 night platinum lifer) but with dogs we never have the option. I understand why though. Also, I think throwing in the hot breakfast for platinum would be nice instead of just the cold options.
All that aside we love the Westin Charlotte.

I like the Westin, it is usually clean, and the staff is usually really helpful. There were some small bugs in our trip.
In room air was not working very good, and hotel was packed so no where to move. They did kind of get it going better. Ice machine on our floor was out the whole time, and parking seems a bit high at $25 a day, on top of your room rate.
But, it is in a great location, gym is nice, pool area is fun, and again, it was clean.
We stay here every year, and the few bugs this trip were not enough to ruin my overall opinion.

The Westin is in a great location - just off the highway but only a couple minutes walk from the heart of Uptown. This is my go-to hotel when I'm staying in Charlotte for business or fun. Always one of the best in Charlotte or any where for that matter to stay. I never worry about clean anything because it's always clean. Temperature is perfect typically when arriving I hate to walk into a room that the heat will run you out. Friendly service a few employees give"I'm better than you looks" but I brush it off"you're working here I'm staying here" and enjoy my stay anyways More...

Very nice hotel. Staff is super kind and attentive. Incredibly clean everywhere and I like the layout of the room we had. My only complaint is that the bed felt like I was sleeping on a sidewalk and the pillows look nice at first but they just sink to nothing. Bring your own pillow for sure!

We arrived very late at night. Our flight was cancelled and all hotels around the airport were full. I kept searching and found this Westin. Benita who checked us in was absolutely wonderful. The lobby was full of people for a basketball party and the music was loud. She accommodated us patiently getting all 6 of us checked into our rooms. We had no luggage...just our carryons she gave us all toothbrushes and necessary toiletries. Thank you so very much. The room is very nice and the beds are wonderful. I love staying at this hotel! The staff is wonderful to work with, and they will quickly resolve any issues you may have. Slightly inconvenient to get to due to Charlotte's less than stellar roadway system, but does offer an excellent location from which to begin a walking tour of Uptown . Close to some great restaurants and literally next door to the Convention Center. I try to book this hotel every time I'm in this neat little city. More...

This is one of those hotels you tell everyone about!! From the lobby to your room is pure luxury. The rooms are expansive and so very clean and the beds are so very comfortable.
Its like when you close your door you hear no noise, its so quite and that is a major plus. The area around the hotel is very nice with great places to dine.Love the quite and peaceful hotel, where you can really get some good rest and be productive the next day.
The staff are very professional and know the meaning of customer service!!
