Well what can I say!! Thank you doesn't seem to be enough. The waters edge was my wedding reception venue at the weekend and I could not recommend it enough. The staff all amazing. Food was so good and all my guest have told myself and shaun this. Lovely venue in total recommend 100% to go look brides. Elouise who would be the lady dealing with events is so lovely and she knows what she is doing giving it a very professional and friendly service. I came here on the eve of my wedding (Tuesday 10th October) with my Mum. The food was to exceptional quality. My Mum had the veggie burger and I had the fish and chips. We came roughly at half 8, and with food served till 9 nothing was too much trouble for them even though we were eating quite late. We only had mains due to us not wanting to push the timings for the staff however our server treated us brilliantly and said that we were more than welcome to dessert. It meant that we could relax with our food for much longer if we chose! I am an hour away from Newark and I would definitely travel, and get 3 courses next time. This is a very nice pub stroke restaurant and I went there on Saturday afternoon and there was an outside bar that was running it was brilliant went back on Monday and for some reason the outside bar wasn't working so everybody had to come in through the fire door and up the stairs to the main bar I thought this was odd on a bank holiday Monday and a beautiful day that it was I would have thought it'd be much easier to have the outside bar running cheers Phil.

The cocktails are fabulous, however the last two times we have been in the bramble has been different on both occassions - has the recipe been changed?
Also when youre ordering 2 for £10 cocktails you should be able to order any of the others on 2 for 10 you shouldnt have to be limited to that one choice.
The atmosphere is always relaxed. Weve only eaten here twice and both times the food was really good, we have been in a few more times for food but was disappointed that the thai sweat chili chicken sandwich had been removed from the menu especially when we had travelled quite far for it. As a whole this is a good place to go and is in a great location too!
Please bring back the thai sweet chilli chicken sandwich.
