This is my third or fourth stay at The Vineyard and it remains my go to place when I want to feel cared for; where everything works and is central. The staff are discreet and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The Vineyard is often busy but I never feel neglected. The rooms are clean, spacious and more than adequate. It's an ideal location for getting around CT and an Uber is never more than a minute or two away. There are a few spots in Newlands that are in walking distance for a drink or a meal. I appreciate the hotel's dedication to its reputation and from management down, it's well-run and worth returning to. More...

I have stayed at the Vineyard many times and it never fails to impress. The location is convenient, the view stunning, and the service is first class. Rooms are modern and well appointed. The food is also very good, whether the good value lighter snacks in the cafe or the main restaurant (which sometimes tries to hard but is always interesting). Not much finer than taking a beer on the terrace on a sunny Cape Town evening. The coffee bar in the lobby does a great cappuccino to perk you up if you close down the terrace bar the night before! My wife and I visited in November last year and also this year. 7 nights both times.||Mountain view deluxe room. Very spacious, with patio. Nespresso coffee.||Excellent housekeeping staff. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The grounds and pool were exceptional and it was lovely seeing outside on the terrace (where we enjoyed everything from breakfast, to afternoon drinks and also one evening we had dinner outside).
