I went to The Village a few years ago for a couple of sessions of therapy. It was exactly what I needed and I learned so much while I was there. I learned coping mechanisms for dealing with not only my feelings, but my anxiety as well. My experience at The Village has changed my life. I had been thinking of seeing someone, and finally made the call five months ago. In this short time, I have grown and feel equipped to manage my anxiety effectively. You don't leave a session, and then it's done. You leave with new skills to practice so that you can be your best self. I have felt understood and cared for this entire time. It's one more component to self-care.
