The Training Habit, more importantly Ali, one of the trainers here, is amazing.  I have been doing personal training with Ali for a year and a half now and could not be happier with my results and changes I have seen in my body.  I came to the Training Habit by Yelping trainers in the area, and I am so happy I chose this gym!  From the minute I walked in for my consultation to today I have not regretted my decision to choose working with Ali!  She has made me feel comfortable, worked with me on what I want to achieve with my body, focused me on goals (personally and physically), and become a great friend along the way!  The gym is intimate and is great for small classes that they have or personal training one on one or with a friend. I trained with Kai years ago and then stopped. But I needed to get back into shape. I called The Training Habit but Kai was no available so I started with Ali. Ali is a phenomenal trainer. I'm obsessed with this place! I found the Training Habit about four months ago. I go about 2-4 times a week and felt really lost on my fitness journey and that nothing was working before I started coming. I love that it can be totally private or semi private. The trainers really listen to exactly what you want to achieve and talk you through not only what you do in the gym but also your lifestyle and eating outside of the gym. Working programming is always fresh and changing. They know exactly the right moments to push you beyond how you would push yourself. I can't see every leaving!! More...

I have been a member of The Training Habit for a little over two months now. I am telling you, I used to be a little "groupon groupie. " I have LITERALLY tried everything; Core Power, Fit Body, Crossfit, ect and none of them amounted to what The Training Habit has provided me the last two months. I walked in and had a sit down with Kai, she did a fitness assessment, weight and measurements and I hit the ground running with a personal trainer and group class schedule. I do my trainings in the morning before work and the AMAZING group classes in the evening. They have perfect times for an office lifestyle.

I can tell you that when I started with them I was already an athlete but I needed a place that could help me get to the next level. My goal is to get to 15% body fat (from 23%). I have definitely had the dedication and determination to reach my goals but have you ever tried to make something a "habit" or "routine" that you hated? It is damn near impossible to do, why would you do something everyday if you hated it? You wouldn't, you would do something everyday that inspires you or makes you feel incredible from the inside and out! The Training Habit makes me feel like I am getting off work to see friends and work out with some kick ass trainers. I have made so many friends and life changes because of the influence of Kai Kelly, Sarkis Kara, Amy Green, Michelle P. and Ali (trainers). I can not imagine where I would be with out their guidance and different outlooks on fitness that has gotten me to my goals.

My goals were a little intense for the average 24 year old but those are MY goals. Kai and her team are extremely aware of different bodies, goals and lifestyles and they have the knowledge and personalities to make you feel comfortable and cater to all of your needs. The group classes range from all levels and truly apply to beginners and athletes entirely.

If you are thinking about changing your life and waking up every morning with a purpose to have control over your health and fitness The Training Habit will get you there! They will know your name, they will know what makes you tick and they WILL get you to where you want to be (if you are willing to put in the work). Have a purpose and make your life extraordinary....if your not about that life then I know you want to look sexy in a bikini ;)

Love the Training Habit! Their trainers and classes are wonderful-I was able to drop 10 lbs in 5 weeks by attending the classes 4 times a week. If you're look for an amazing personal trainer, look no further! Ali at the Training Habit is your girl. I started working out with her in prep for my upcoming wedding & I'm so happy I did! Since working out with Ali for just under a year, I've lost about 10lbs & toned up, but most importantly gained strength. I legit couldn't do 1 pushup when I started with Ali and now I can do 20+ (this is a feat for me!). I've worked out with a few personal trainers in my life and Ali has been my favorite by far! This is such a great gym for personal training.  Clean facility, up-to-date equipment and really nice trainers.  I've been working out with Erin for a little over a year and have lost more than 50 pounds and am down to 16-18 percent body fat (depending on how much Happy Hour-ing I've done that week! ).  I'm glad they have a Smith machine and squat rack...although I'm not always happy to see them on leg day!  The best part is that with the training I've received on this equipment and all the great variations I've learned, I've been able to work out effectively on my own when I'm traveling for work so I can continue to make muscle gains.  Oh, and speaking of travel, this place is a jet's roar from SNA -- so when the garage door is open you can get your airplane fix and watch the flights land! The Training Habit is by far the best gym in Orange County! I have been going to this gym for almost a year and a half and have had nothing but positive experiences. Ali has been my trainer from the beginning and she has literally changed my life. I'm down over 60lbs and countless inches! She is professional, knowledgeable, flexible, funny, and genuinely cares! She has gone above and beyond to make sure I get all of my sessions in each week and hit my goals. She also has suggested I get labs done which led me to find out I have Celiac Disease and hypothyroidism! I have also worked out with Chris who has amazing high paced workout sessions. The team overall is very aware of fitness and are able to cater their knowledge with each individuals needs. If you aren't 100% sold on 1:1 training, group classes are a great start! Kai and Ali are amazing!!! I'm extremely self conscious about my body, however through their sisterhood, friendship and understanding I'm feeling more and more comfortable.  I've been working out with them for two weeks now and feel like I'm actually working towards toning my body, through their intense, challenging and ever changing workouts.  If you are ready to achieve your goals and want motivation in a safe and friendly environment, look no further!!  Love these ladies!!! I LOVE The Training Habit!  I started working out with Kai and Ali a couple of months ago and already see significant changes in my strength and CV health.  Kai and her trainers are committed to creating a positive, encouraging environment focused on fitness and health.  I've worked-out with other trainers, none (before now) have been able to keep me focused and committed.  With Kia (and ALi) I've never done the same routine twice!  The basics: the gym is clean, the equipment is fantastic, the location is great, lots of parking and conveniently located off of the 405 and the 55 and her prices are competitive - but this isn't why I keep coming, its the environment and the trainers commitment that can't be duplicated. I can't say enough great things about The Training Habit! First, I will start out by saying what a great, positive and encouraging environment it is. I always feel so comfortable working out here and everyone makes you feel like you belong. I have been working out with Kai for a few months and she has truly changed my life and my mentality on health/fitness. Came here for Stevie's yoga class, and it was great!First, directions: TTH is by Main St., not on the sky Street. My iPhone sent me to the wrong place. I am beyond glad I came across this gym!!! I have been doing group classes for about 3 months now, and I started personal training recently with Kai. It is impossible to even have a favorite class with these group classes... All of the trainers are incredible,  have great energy, and make you feel right at home. But most importantly they limit the group classes so thatyou maystill get individual attention which id great cause i deff. Need it...When i first started I had absolutely no fitness background I never really Ever worked out so you can just imagine how terrible my form was. I am still a working progress,but thanks to this amazing team I have seen all the difference& am stoked to see even more progress adding my personal training with the lovely Kai. & not to forget the prices are affordable and they are extremely flexible with schedules..... I've been taking the group classes and love it. Each person gets the full attention of the trainer with only 10 people per class. Everyone is very friendly and the trainers know how to push you the right amount to make you work hard without getting hurt. I'd recommend anyone trying to lose weight or tone up to try this gym out. UPDATE!My last session with Kai was two months ago and it has now been about 8 months since I started with her. I have lost THIRTY pounds since my first session with her. Yep...not a typo. *My stats as of June 2013: Down 17 in, down 9.6 % body fat, and down 19 pounds in 6 months. Since my last weigh in with Kai (at the end of June) I have lost another 11 lbs and can REALLY see a difference in my body. My pant size in now a size 5/6!!! I am beyond embarrassed at how much weight I have gained over the last few years and I'm so damn proud of the weight I have lost so far this year. I absolutely could NOT have had these results without Kai's help. Because of Kai I have a healthy relationship with food and actually ENJOY working out both at the gym and at home. In the months that I trained with her she taught me a ton of workouts that dont involve a machine so I am able to do them in the comfort of my own home.. so if I only have 20-30 minutes to work out before/after work I can still get a crazy intense workout without driving to the gym.. it's awesome!I can't thank Kai enough for her wealth of knowledge in everything that has to do with working out, losing weight, and being healthy. I wouldn't have these results if it wasn't for her. I cant wait to see what my body will look like in these next couple of months since now I am focusing on shedding only a couple more pounds and really just sculpting certain areas. Started workouts with Kai before she opened this gym. I'm in my 50s and out of shape but she has really increased my strength and stamina and is turning things around. The workouts have been challenging but I like the fact she makes sure I do not over do it. I have also tried a couple of the workout classes and one turned out to be a little too challenging for my current ability. Amy the trainer pushed me but realized I was over doing it and cautioned me to slow down more than once. I like the fact the classes are small allowing some individual attention unlike some places that pack you in like sardines. The gym is clean and loaded with new equipment. Parking is sometimes challenging due to the dance studio next door.  I had to park in back once but what's a little extra walk when you're there to exercise. More...

Ive been in a big workout rut lately so i decided to get up and get to the training habit. The gym is brand new and clean. All the equipment is pristine. Sarkis trained me incorporating the treadmill dumbbells and kettle bells. You definitely get your heart rate up and burn a lot of calories. I trained with Kai a while back. Had to stop due to surgery. When I was ready to resume I found out she had opened up her own gym, the Training Habit. The gym is really nice. All brand new equipment, very clean. Kinda hard to find the first time though. Second time no problem. Took the Kettle bell cardio class. Just about died .. But in a good way..All the trainers are all nice, very good at motivating you. Which is exactly what I need. More...
