What kind of accounting services do you provide?
I provide a comprehensive bookkeeping service up to the level of detailed management accounts and pre-audit packs ready for accountants to use to prepare statutory accounts and i have links with two well known local accountancy firms. I also provide payroll services and can also provide training and guidance in bookkeeping and payroll.
Why is it so important for businesses to hire a great accountant?
My friend and colleague who is a partner in a prominent local firm always uses the adage 'what you can measure you can manage' and i firmly believe this to be true. To be able to manage and grow your business/organisation you need accurate and reliable management information which can only be prepared from good well kept records so you need a great accountant to help you do this and relive you of the burden of struggling with financial record keeping
What do you love most about your job?
Being able to make a valuable contribution to business owners which enables me to earn a living whilst letting my clients concentrate on their business with the burden of bookkeeping and accounts removed.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Reaching a time of life when I wanted more flexibility, more variety in my work and more control over time management without having to deal with bureaucracy and office politics anymore!
