Buffet time! I knew about this place since moving to the metro area. Apparently this is one of the very few places that offers a crab leg buffet (although advertised a max of 4 clusters per person! ).But I came instead for a breakfast buffet with a meetup group. You pay first then eat. I suggest going to the omelette station first because the line gets really long. Also make reservations. It tends to get packed most of the time. Bonus: complimentary mimosas! I just came back from Atlanta, and I'm still full from brunch. The quality of food was excellent. It reminded me of H's Lordship's in Berkeley, but better before it closed. I loaded my plates with omelets made to order, eggs benedict, shrimp in the shell, hella grits, and the roast beef that was waiting for me after everything was said and done. Truly a hidden gem nestled in the middle of the Pinewood Studio compound. Our waitress was very attentive, other staff were friendly and the food was delicious! Came here for a birthday lunch.. Its buffet style. The food was good. They have music in the evenings. We didn't have to have a reservation. We did get buy one get one half off. You pay when you ehter. Then you are seated. The selection was wide array of meats including steak..crab legs shrimp. Very good.. And plenty of veggies. We also able to get a pour of Wine to go with our meal. And the vwaitress even bought me over desserts for my birthday..by that time i was stuffed but i still sampled it. This is one of my favorite places to go. I feel so fancy when I go here. The café is located in a renovated elementary school across the street from Pinewood Studios which is the headquarters to marvel movies. I feel almost like a movie star when I go in there. Maybe it has something to do with the movie ambience. The cafeteria in the renovated elementary school is a wonderland of amazement. You don't even realize that you're in the cafeteria. Of course seeing that it's buffet style you have the opportunity to get up and go for seconds. The food was pretty good; however it was very crowded and the tables were close together making it tight to maneuver around. I had an excellent brunch here! Make reservations, because it's busy, and rightfully so. They have omelet, carving and waffle stations aside from the buffet. All of the condiments, drinks and juices you could want. Everything I had was tasty and fresh. Brunch comes with either two mimosas or glasses of orange juice. Good food for the value. We have been there twice...once for lunch and once for Easter Sunday brunch. The lunch was exceptional and the brunch average. The omelette/waffle station was on one side with it's own line with another line in the other side that had several breakfast items on it (bacon, sausage,etc). This meant unless you had another member of your party on the other line your breakfast may be incomplete. Hubby & I were invited to celebrate a friends birthday this past Saturday.We were pleasantly surprised when we walked in. There was live music and a beautiful ambience .This was a large party of 40 people and our customer service was very good.PROS*The food was delicious. It never fails. Come with your fat pants on. I've never been disappointed ever. I can't comment on one specific food because their options change and are many. The staff is always friendly and goes above and beyond. They are very reasonably priced for the lunches, when we usually go, and the food is fresh and fabulous. Definitely try Hanna Brothers. This is one of the only buffet places I will willingly go to. The choices are always delicious and they offer healthy options for those who are watching their weight. This was our second time dining here. The first time it was just the two of us. The wait time was only 10 minutes. The second time was a group of 9. Unfortunately, we did not have reservations. Therefore, the wait time was nearly 2 hours--not they're fault, but the wait was the only drawback.If you're going to dine here, I highly recommend making reservations.The food is amazing!!! I had a private business event here tonight. The customer service was great, the atmosphere was relaxing, fun and eventful. This place looks way better than the other posts I saw. Even though it's supposed to be a cafeteria, it was a nice atmosphere, it looks nice enough for a date night (seven though I'm not dating right now lol ). They have multiple options on different days so that's nice (I love change and spontaneity, lol this sounds like I'm making a post for a dating website ). This is the closest you will get to a Las Vegas buffet without having to go to Vegas! The atmosphere is super chill and the decor is upscale. We came on a Friday which is seafood day! We had salad, peach iced tea (my FAVORITE) Mac and cheese, grilled veggies, snow crab legs and shrimp. Everything tasted very fresh with high end ingredients. This is a hidden gem about 30 minutes south of Atlanta. I'm sure this place was created for the studio employees in mind, but it is open to the public and is a very good deal for what you get. It is buffet style and they feature different things different days of the week. They do have brunch on the weekend. The location is in an old school which works because the cafeteria set up is still in play.It is a very casual atmosphere so don't go dressed for your typical brunch on a Saturday or Sunday. Second visit for dinner was nice, seafood and steak are welcome on my plate just about anytime. The live jazz band was a very nice added touch. They covered the smooth R&B hits from the 80's till now. Crab legs, (huge) peel and eat shrimp, corn cob, garlic mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese, angus steak, yellow rice, dinner rolls, and a caesar salad was about all I could handle this evening. I'm stuffed to the seams as I sit here writing this review. Dinner for two 80$ with tip. A little high for buffet style if you ask me but I digress. The only complaint for this visit is that it was COLD... teeth chattering cold! I understand they try keep it cold to keep greedy people from staying all day trying to eat more than their fill...BUT... you still have to make it an enjoyable dining experience for your regular guests. This is definitely a nice hidden secret. I was disappointed at first and then pleasantly surprised. I was invited to a friends birthday dinner so I was dressed up nicely and had heels on thinking we were going to a fancy place and quickly realized it wasn't that type of atmosphere , however I absolutely enjoyed my food and the time we spent there . I just wish I had dressed differently. When you get there, it looks like an elementary or middle school and the dining area looks to be inside of what would have been a gym or cafeteria. They made the decor really nice so it didn't feel that way. I am not sure of the daily menu or pricing but the night we went it was $30 to eat and it was a buffet! I was very surprised to find out it was a buffet.We were given cups to get unlimited drinks if you decided you wanted one. After you were seated, you were free to go and get food or drinks. They had a full bar to purchase drinks and a really great selection of soft drinks and teas/lemonades. The lemonade was really good. For food they had so many good options. Fish, chicken, veggies, Mac n cheese, bread rolls, pastas, rice, salad bar, dessert bar, they even had a seafood bar with crab legs and shrimp ! Thoroughly enjoyed myself. The venue caught me off guard as this is a refurbished high school cafeteria. However, the decor and the lighting made it a very, very nice venue. The food was excellent. I tried everything on the bar and it was great. A saxophonist performed during dinner and sound amazing. The cost of the dinner bar is $27 per person and $5 for fountain drinks.
