I am a newly entrepreneurial in event marketing developer and in managament. The Start Up Expert has been on my seek-to- guidance list since 2014. Today, here we are in 2018, and I have gotten the opportunity to get that next level advice I been hoping for.

My experience was excellent and better than expected. While I was writing my business plan using Live Plan, I got invited to do a Business Growth Strategy Session with The Startup Expert. This was a one-hour session to review my business plan with a coach. In order to get the most out of the session, I waited until the plan was finished so that I could get feedback on a well developed strategy. The first thing that I was happy to learn in my call with Mark Miller is that he is an experienced entrepreneur with years of experience in multiple business, including a restaurant chain called Canada Burger that he started in Mexico. Mark applied a clear structure to our conversation and I felt confident that we were covering the bases in our call. But more than that, as a fellow entrepreneur, Mark understood where I am at in my startup journey and where I am heading. This meant he could provide laser focus on the issues that mattered and give me solid advice. He said it sounded like I was approaching my sales with a fishing pole and encouraged me to think about how I can grow my business by fishing with a net instead. In subsequent calls and emails, I learned that this think-big, growth-oriented approach is in the company's DNA. When I went into the coaching session, I expected that it would be useful to talk about my business and get feedback. I'm starting my first business and signed up for a free 1-hour coaching session through The Startup Expert because I was seeking some advice on what type of entity to form. As with most free sessions, I expected a hard sales pitch, but it never came. The Startup Expert coach asked me several questions to understand my situation and motivation for starting a business, and offered a fresh perspective that I hadn't considered. I'd highly recommend taking them up on the free call. My coach has already added a ton of value and has lots of experience running his own businesses, so I intend on signing up for on-going coaching. Time will tell if that is a worthwhile investment, but based on my experience thus far I believe my coach will save me lots of time, mistakes, and money. More...
