Genuinely the most enjoyable night out I’ve had in a while, had a groupon so that was fab, but staff treated us first class, myself and a girlfriend had a much needed night out, putting the world to rights and, the food was prompt and delicious, the staff were so welcoming and friendly from start to finish, 5 stars all the way, will be back x Highly recommend.

Rob and his staff go out of their way to welcome you and are understanding of individual needs. As a diabetic my meal was adapted to better suit my needs and was absolutely delicious, as was my husbands (yes, I tried his too! ). A warm welcome is extended to everyone. Would recommend The Stag to anyone looking for excellent food, good customer service and value for money. I regularly stop off at the Stags Head in Maidwell and Robert always make me and my cycling club feel welcome. Saturday we had our annual club dinner there, although our number this year was small just 13 of us, Robert and his staff were very quick and efficient. Food & drinks excellent.

My boyfriend and I went for a meal this evening, we had a groupon voucher. When we arrived and said we had a table booked we were asked for the code, and offered drinks and shown to our table. We were shown the menu and explained what our voucher included and said we could upgrade for the extra money. The food was very tasty, fresh and hot.
