LOVE everything about the place! The bakery items are fantastic but the people are even better!! So thankful to have them in our community. We get treats often from there but for the first time we ordered pies for thanksgiving. We had a pecan pie and an apple pie. Gluten free and dairy free!! I attended an event at Southern Olive, which is a VERY long way from my home, but so worth the drive! The presentation was outstanding and I’m officially obsessed with their balsamic vinegar and olive oil. Who knew that even organic olive oil bought in stores is mostly other vegetable oils Not just that, but they’re the exact oils my integrative wellness physician told me to avoid! And I can’t even start to tell you how happy I was to learn that balsamic vinegar is just as good for you as apple cider vinegar - no more choking down a shot of that stomach scorching stuff anymore! My family loves this place! They are celiac safe and also offer keto, dairy free, and peanut free options! The olive oils and balsamic vinegars are amazing. I always enjoy picking up a few gf finds that I don't see anywhere else. Plus, they have a coffee/tea bar and wines!!!! I hope they can find another cake decorator so their current one isn't so stressed and rushed. Could be one of the greatest places on Earth... not just Route 521. Beyond the extensive selection of oils and vinegars you forgot you needed are coffee and baked goods that are mind-blowing. Finally got my husband to stop by and pick up a few goodies. He was impressed with the helpful staff and the large selection of treats. He brought home several items, all of which were AMAZING! I have to give major props though for the Chocolate Peanut Butter Cupcake. I left it out on the counter overnight and just ate it... even a day later it’s still hands down the best cupcake I’ve ever had. (Notice I didn’t say the best gluten free cupcake!!) Today we stopped in to this lovely gem. A bakery dedicated to gluten free items. Oh what a treat!It's difficult to find fresh baked gluten free items anywhere in Charlotte. If you do, the items are thrown in the same cases as regular baked goods. Two words for you... cross contamination When we walked in and said do you have any gluten free items. They replied "it's all gluten free". Situated near fort mill in Indian land. It's a 25 minute drive and totally worth it. The employees were lovely and accommodating. KETO-FRIENDLY BAKERY!! After reading the reviews, I drove out there from Mint Hill. They had a good selection of keto friendly desserts. The lady at the counter was very nice, willing to answer questions, and make suggestions. We got the cheesecake, chocolate chip cookies, brownie, and chocolate iced Cupcake. Stopped in here yesterday after lunch for something sweet. Loved the selection of gluten free and vegan options. It is near impossible find great tasting desserts that I can eat, but I found my place. This will be my weekly cheat day spot for sure! The owner was also so helpful in helping me locate what foods items they offered that fit all my restrictions. Can't tecommend this place enough! I love that I can go into your store and I’m safe to eat ANYTHING there! I don’t have to worry about accidentally ingesting gluten. I loved at one of the wine tastings how you shared the back story to why you opened the store and that each item promotes health.
