This place is crazy good! Â Was working in the area and stumbled across it as I was starving and needed to eat somewhere. Probably the best wings I've had in North Idaho! Great atmosphere and service. Our server it was Rachel. The food had the potential of being really great but everything was over salted. We had the sweet potato strips,the vegetable platter and the pork tacos. Could not finish the sweet potato strips because of the amount of salt and half the vegetable board had way too much coarse salt sprinkled on it. The pork tacos were also over salted. My daughter lives near the town of Priest River and took me to The Settlement for dinner last week. Â We are both world travelers and fussy about food. Â Who knew you could find such a wonderful meal in this town? Â I had grilled fresh salmon on an arugula salad, daughter had fish tacos. We loved everything about the meal. Simply delish. Nice ambiance, lovely helpful waitress, good wine list. This is such a wonderful restaurant. Our town is quite fortunate to have such quality food and service in a small population. Not to mention the great selection of beer and wine. I am especially grateful they are open for lunch, I cannot tell you how often I run by there and pick up a salad. Just left there with a smile and full tummy. We are from Pennsylvania and spent 2 years eating our way through Philadelphia. The quality and flavors are superb. Hubby had the Mature Mac N Cheese with a creamy cheese sauce and smoky bacon and mushroom flavors. I had the Nashville spicy chicken sandwich. Oh my....the sandwich was just so crispy and juicy with perfect slaw...just like I had in Nashville. His favorite was his Mac n cheese. Mine was my sandwich. Had the Asian cauliflower wings as an appetizer. Perfectly done with a delicious Asian sauce and sprinkled with nuts. Very very pleased with choosing this restaurant. Kudos to the chef. Such great food! Although I had previously had the pork rib eye steak and really liked it, I forgot how great it was until I ordered it again. If you like bacon, you will love the bacon jam. I was in bacon heaven. The pork melts in your mouth and was fabulous. My husband & I like to share an appetizer, salad, main course and dessert and are never disappointed. We stopped here for lunch on 4th of July. It was relatively busy but there were a lot of empty seats and a few people at the bar. Our waitress was friendly and outgoing. We tried the fish tacos (x2), the chicken sandwich, the quinoa/arugula salad, and the fig salad. The tacos were so good! If I went back, that would be my order again. The salads were okay, nothing fancy but not bad. The chicken sandwich was good! Spicy, but well balanced with the creamy coleslaw on top. My favorite part about this place is their extensive beer menu. I believe you can also buy beer and wine from here to take home. This is my second time here this week.  This is so close to being an amazing restaurant and really happy it is here and took over the last place. The restaurant has many choices of beer that you can drink there or buy to take home.  The first time we went we had the coffee steak and the sweet potato and quinoa salad. The steak was perfection and delicious. The quinoa salad that accompanied it was also flavorful. It also came with some sweet potato ribbons that were tasty but super greasy. If crunchy, it would have been the best meal in years.  The salad was a nice combo of cauliflower, cranberries, walnuts, goat cheese and arugula with a chipotle vinaigrette. It was delicious and fresh and although I like a little spice it was a little above my tolerance as I drank water with every bite. Today 5 of us ate here. Two of us had the fish tacos which were delicious. They were not at all greasy with a nice crunch. They give you three very nice sized tacos with Siracha  cream sauce, cabbage slaw, home made salsa in a soft ish corn tortilla. The spice was perfect!  One person had the salad. There wasn't enough dressing but we requested more and they brought it right out. Again, a little too spicy for my liking but delicious salad. The spicy Nashville chicken sandwich was delicious and it says it is spicy and it is. The French fries that came with the burger had a yummy slice on them that reminded me of bbq potato chips. Great flavor but like the sweet potato ribbons they were soft and a little greasy. The miss: the fries of any sort need to be more crispy and less greasy. Wow! A fantastic meal in a small town in Idaho. This is definitely a five-star experience. My fettuccine with clams was custom-made to my order. Not wanting a cream sauce the chef made me a white wine sauce instead. It was phenomenal. My companion had the impossible burger which he said was excellent. The service was outstanding. I had a lime margarita which was great. In fact it was so good I had two of them. The wine and beer selection is outstanding. Fun new place to enjoy a chef prepared meal.The pork chop had an excellent sauce with a diverse flavor profile. The potatoes and asparagus were a tasty accompaniment!
