The Salsa Creative Studio Q&A

Company Q&A

Describe your creative process.

Research is a key part of my process. I spend a lot of time finding and absorbing any information I can relating to the project. A full understanding of the core of the brand and what needs to be communicated allows for the best presentation thereof. After research I take to pencil and paper, spreading out my ideas and then building them up to create a strong concept. Then digital production and refinement.

What information do you need from a client before you can start work?

I need to know more about their business/project and what their designed goal is as well as the general job specs.

What do you love most about your job?

I love that I am able to take an idea and bring it to life.

What inspired you to start your own business?

My freelance work started to increase so much so that it became full time.

Why should our clients choose you?

Many years of experience in advertising, my attention to detail and a wide range of skills has allowed me to consistently impress my clients. I am reliable and consider all the facets surrounding the task at hand to be able to find ways to develop concepts and solutions that go beyond expectation.

Work History

Graphic Designer and Marketing Manager

The Little Picture Company

From April 2016 to present.

The Little Picture Company is an ecommerce gifting store based in London specialising in unique personalised products. I designed their website, manage marketing, design advertising, develop product concepts, design products and also hand finish products to order.

Tata Madiba

I was hired by The South African National Social History Museum to design an educational resource for their Nelson Mandela exhibition soon after his passing. I designed a resource that was multifunctional. When folded it acted as an informational booklet and when unraveled it became a poster to act as a keepsake for visitors, a concept that I developed for a previous resource for the South African National Gallery's exhibition of Rorke's Drift.
