I came to Paul with muscular problems after runs, he put me on the treadmill and was able to identify my issue. I paid for six sessions and he sorted me out. Eight weeks later I’m still pain free. I found him to be knowledgeable and friendly. More...

I suffered from hot feet, tight calves and had recently come back from an ankle injury. i went to see paul without mentioning any of this and he diagnosed them all immediately! i would highly recommend the running school for anyone from pavement pounder to serious racer. I have seen massive improvement in my runs, going faster for less effort. although you have to be prepared to put in some work (and you will certainly feel the burn the next day) More...

My son attended the 6 week intensive course and his running style has dramatically improved. He now attends on a monthly basis to maintain. Paul makes the sessions really interactive and fun. My son loves football and by Paul incorporating this with the exercises he doesn't realise he is still practising! More...

I first met Paul at the running School when I signed up for a six week course following a running analysis. I throughly recommend this course as Paul found inherent weaknesses and issues with my running which were corrected and I went on to get personal bests in all distances except one! My wife, who is an avid walker, had a long term back issue which doctors hadn’t helped with. Paul assessed marie, suggested what was wrong and for the next six weeks, put her through some vigorous exercises but the back was fine! I’ve since used Paul for sports massages, which again, I throughly recommend. I recently picked up a running injury which Paul quickly diagnosed and put me through an appropriate course of exercise. After many weeks of hard work under Paul’s watchful eye, I’m running pain free again. Check out the Running School, you won’t regret it! More...

I can't recommend the Running School enough. I tried it first a few years ago while recovering from lower back and nerve problems caused by a bulging disc. I had been running competitively for about 20 years. Paul Bartlett managed to demonstrate very quickly problems with my running gait that was losing me considerable speed. I did not realise how twisted and unbalanced I was. The brain is incredible at adjusting to whatever adjustments you make unconsciously to protect an injury. With a series of exercises and concentrated sessions with Paul, I slowly adjusted my gait and began using and strengthening my hamstrings and glutes much more. As a result my times went down so that in my later 40s I am achieving times I was getting 10 years before. And I think my chances of further injury are smaller. I could not have got here without Paul. Don't think you can do this yourself by reading a book or looking in the mirror. I go back periodically to be reminded again of the muscles I should use for efficiently and balance running but don't! More...

I did a 6 session coaching plan as I couldn't run 3 miles without picking up an injury. After correcting my running form, I've just run a half marathon obstacle course up and down endless hills in Wales!
Would highly recommend these running classes to anyone considering them.

What a way to start my fifteenth post-stroke year! The team at The Running School got me walking tall - without foot drop - today!
Thanks Mike, Emma, Matt, Ash and all the team!
Still work for me to do, but at 72, it's even more important.

The lesson here is running is not just about putting one foot in front of the other. Paul has taught me a better way...it's hard work but the rewards are there!

Friendly. Don't try to reinvent the wheel, but have reinvented my running style. My foot problem, which had confused a Physio, my GP, a podiatrist and a rheumatologist no longer prevents me from running as I'm not applying anything like the same, incorrect pressure as before. This is completely different to any training you might do with your club, truly worth it. More...
