Wonderful village pub, great food, friendly crowd & service. Lots of community spirit, live music nights under new owners, if your ever in the area seek it out, better still make a point to visit! Set in the beautiful rural village of Kirby Muxloe, just a 5 minute walk from Kirby Muxloe Castle ruins, perfect setting for a stroll after a Sunday Roast. Highly recommend. More...

Went to a birthday party in the lovely function room this weekend. The food was some of the best party food I've eaten - a curry buffet - lovely service & staff, great space. Would definitely recommend!

We went for Sunday lunch today and it was superb. The staff were lovely and they couldn't do enough for our fussy 3 year old. The food was fabulous and great value as there are no extras to pay as there are in alot of other places. We'll definitely be back! More...

We had a wake there yesterday and we could not have been looked after better. They did a buffet for us and the food was excellent and all done on site. Our guest really enjoyed the occasion when wakes are normally sad but we nor My departed Mother wanted that. We highly recommend this venue and will be using it more often. More...

Lovely lunch today! Been here a couple of times and food is excellent! Would just like to say 'Smile!' to the staff! I know it's a 'job' but you are serving the public! And, when someone asks for a jug of water, keep your fingers out of the glasses!!! Get a tray if you cannot carry them all in one go! That was unhygenic! More...

Lovely local pub with nice decor we booked into the restaurant early yesterday evening was fairly busy but with only two waiting staff on they were ran off their feet but were very polite and friendly only comment was we were served only two tiny potatoes on each roast Sunday dinner - not sure if running low, but tasty and good service
