I'm a huge advocate and loyal customer to The Roasted Fig. They have not only prepared corporate lunches for my office but also provided excellent appetizers for several of our evening receptions. They do such a great job that I referred them to The Greater Ft Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce where The Roasted Fig has catered their bi-monthly Lunch Bunch meetings and occasional breakfast meeting through various committee groups. Kyle was our chef, we were 14 people including 8 kids and he was fantastic, cooked, served and cleaned up. Food was delicious and we ate the leftovers the next few days. We had the grouper. I had the awesome opportunity to sample Chef Freddy's prepared Roasted Fig cuisine this past weekend at a friends house. What a treat for the palate and senses. From their absolutely delish signature fig and golden beet salad, to succulent chicken main entree and scrumptious blueberry desert, my only wish was I had more room! Mariana and Chef Freddy went over and beyond! From the beginning of working with them, they attended to every detail ! On the day of the baby shower , every food prepared was delicious ! Chef Freddy came to our house and made the most delicious five course meal. He was very good about working in my kitchen - asked permission to use things, cleaned everything he used, and asked thoughtful questions about how everything worked in my space. The meal was outstanding and the wine pairing was wonderful. We had leftovers that he wrapped up and stored for us and left the kitchen in better shape than he had received it! Although I have had the pleasure of eating the delicious food that The Roasted Fig prepares several times, this weekend they catered my daughters baby shower for 50 ladies and the reviews were rave! !! Every woman that I had the chance to speak with was commenting on the beautiful presentation, the uniqueness of the menu and of course the flavor. We started with passed h'orderves of chicken satay with peanut sauce and mini crab cakes. The buffet included the signature Fig salad, field greens salad and three types of hand held sandwiches. We also feasted on a charcuterie board and asparagus with plantain and prosciutto. I highly recommend the Fig for professionalism and amazing creative meals. I hosted 15 people for a meet and greet. The property manager referred us to a different caterer, I'm glad we chose The Roasted Fig instead. They have a wide selection and decent prices. The selection and payment process was seamless. Prior to the event, Mariana was extremely helpful and accommodating. I ordered several platters including the macaroni fritters, charcuterie board, tropical fruit, vegetable platter, cheeseburger sliders and Caesar salad. Chef Freddy arrived promptly to set up. Everything looked delicious. Everything tasted good, but the sliders were the biggest hit, no leftovers there! They only change I would make would be the fritters, I would request them to be fried harder as they were very soft. Chef Freddy informed of us the authentic (anchovies) caesar dressing. I guess you either love it or hate it. I would've grabbed 'fake' caesar dressing for myself, but many others loved it and used it as dip. Thank you both for helping us celebrate our beautiful bride! Mariana was extremely communicative and assisted us in picking the perfect menu. Chef Freddy arrived early day of event prepared with all of his cooking needs. The food was absolutely delicious! We chose chicken satay app, Signature Roasted Fig Salad, chimichurri steak, carrots and potatoes. Everything was just amazing. My husband and I hired Roasted Fig to cater our wedding and we couldn't be happier! From day 1, the level of service and communication we received was excellent. Mariana and Freddie are top notch caterers who consider each and every detail to ensure your event runs smoothly and all guests are happy. Our wedding was very formal, 115 guests and dinner was plated, not buffet. We served Apricot Glazed Chicken and Beef Tenderloin. Both dishes were amazingly good. Typically wedding food isn't great, but our food was so delicious, flavorful and perfectly cooked. Our guests can't stop commenting on how great everything tasted. Chef Freddy did an amazing job cooking for our bachelorette "fiesta themed" dinner on Cinco de Mayo. Not only was the meal amazing, but Chef Freddy was very friendly and did a great job explaining each course and giving us some helpful cooking tips along the way. All of the girls loved this dinner event, as it allowed us to just relax, hang by the pool and chat while he took care of all the grocery shopping, cooking, serving and cleaning. My friends and I chose Roasted Fig for a bachelorette party dinner in Miami Beach and we LOVED our experience. The organizers were professional, friendly, and incredibly easy to work with. They were up-front about the estimated costs/time and we knew exactly what we were going to get. And of course, the food was amazing! Chef Freddy cooked dinner for my group of 16 while renting a home in Fort Lauderdale. Every single thing was delicious, perfectly cooked, and presented beautifully. We had such a wonderful experience and it was a breeze setting up through Mariana. We ran out of bottled water and Chef Freddy picked us up a couple cases while shopping for food for our dinner -- so nice! We also felt like it was very reasonably priced. The Roasted Fig, Chef Kyle came to my house and cooked for 9 people for my husband's birthday.  We had the yummy crab cakes which were huge and tasty.  The caesar salad was perfect and not too heavy of a dressing which was really nice.  The filet, my husband and my son both said was one of the best they have had.  The overall experience was amazing.  Chef Kyle was so helpful and from the minute he came into our home and I did not have to do a thing including cleaning the dishes.  Thank you Roasted Fig we highly recommend you! We just had a personal chef dinner for 10 people catered by Chef Freddy (and also 2 lunches). They were AMAZING!! He is extremely nice, presentation was fabulous, and the food out of this world. I HIGHLY recommend them-you will not be disappointed. We ordered two different types of sandwiches each day and all were delicious and fresh. Dinner-we did 2 appetizers including a lamb lollipop with a glaze that was so good I wanted to take a bottle home with me. The lamb was also perfectly cooked and tender not to mention flavorful. Main was a skirt steak with chimichurri-also perfectly cooked. I could barely breathe after dessert which was a fresh blueberry cobbler.  I've never done a personal chef before and am now spoiled by the experience. He comes, cooks everything, and then cleans leaving your kitchen sparkling. We also had 1 vegetarian in the group and he made something special for them. A very memorable and worthwhile experience!! The Roasted Fig caters a monthly meeting I attend. I've also had the opportunity to sample some of their food at a festival and other local events. The food is always fresh and tastes amazing! The presentation is beautiful and you can tell Chef Freddy takes great pride in his work. The other thing that makes Chef Freddy unique is that I'm always willing to try his dishes. Not a huge fan if ceviche- I LOVE his! I really don't care for sweet potatoes but I gave them a try and his mashed sweet potatoes with spice was FANTASTIC!  I always look forward to what he's going to come up with next!  If you're looking to cater an office lunch, event, or even just an intimate dinner at home- I highly recommend The Roasted Fig. They work within any budget and I know they use only top quality products.  I also just learned they do meal service plan for the week.  I may have to try that!
