Nicely appointed, clean room overall. But the air conditioning wasn't working very well so the room was somewhat stuffy and there was a moldy smell in the corner of the bathroom.
The walls are thin and the next door neighbors could hear us talking and vice versa.
One highlight of my stay was the gym, which is big with an unusually large variety of gym equipment. A full body workout with weights and machines is possible. Towels and cold water are available. The locker room is large and very spacious. The gym has the feel of a full fledged health club. However, the air conditioning was not working well in the gym either. So it was definitely a little warmer than expected.

Always have a lovely stay at this property. The service is too notch and the rooms are so comfortable. The hotel pumps a scent throughout the property that smells so wonderful, makes you feel at ease. The hotel bar and restaurant are a bit pricey, but nice options. Love the surrounding area, the mall, stores, restaurants, including the metro stop right in front. Makes the area so convenient. More...

When I think of the experience the song Be Our Guest from the Beauty and the Beast movie comes to mind. The staff was very welcoming. Eager to help. The place itself is lovely. We visited the Ritz-Carlton over Mother's Day weekend, which also coincides with my wife's birthday. So it was a shopping trip, and the hotel has direct access to the Fashion Centre without ever going outside, which is of course great. But the reason for our 5 star review is not the location or amenities of the hotel, which are both exceptional, but the staff that hosted us throughout our stay. Every staff member we came across went out of his or her way to engage our children, offer assistance, or just socialize in a very relaxed way. The other clientele seemed to respond to this the same way we did - all in all, the staff and clientele were among the friendliest we have ever come across. It's an incredibly beautiful and luxurious place. Honestly a little too service oriented for me. If you want to feel like true royalty then look no further. The Ritz Carlton helped a wedding I attended make a great experience with the lovely etiquette of the personnel and the great professionalism of the managers.
