The Sunday carvery is a thing of beauty. But a word of warning, you are expected to squeeze in a dessert as well! I had Banofee pie and ice cream which was excellent.

An original ‘Local’ were you can hold a function but still have banter with the regulars at the bar. Landlord is a gent and made sure the night went smoothly (thanks for the candles! ) and great food. Great atmosphere, can get packed when cricket finishes. Good choice of ales and lagers. Great beer garden that gets the sun. Have eaten there in the past and nothing to complain about. Staff friendly. They show the odd match in there on TVs and screen. Dog friendly. Restaurant on two levels so lots of room but you do need to book as gets very busy. More...
