Q&As

Seeing business executives achieve amazing results they didn't think possible through our people development programmes and coaching and mentoring.

I have run my own business for over 20 years - having coached hundreds of senior clients to achieve success. I always wanted to be my own boss and not tow the corporate line.

I have had the pleasure of running The Results Centre for a number of years. We have a great team of people developers and coaches who are passionate about bringing the best in learning and development to the market.

The Results Centre does what it says on the tin! We'll help you tell us what a great result would be for you, your people or your team and then we'll stretch it!!

Services

At The Results Centre, we work with teams and individuals to deliver real Development either through direct 1:1 Coaching or Mentoring or by teaching you and your teams how to Coach.

COACHING & MENTORING DESIGNED & DELIVERED FOR MIDDLE MANAGEMENT & PROFESSIONALS – WITH PARTICULAR EMPHASIS ON INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE:
- Clearly identified for accelerated development
- New into role who may require support
- Highlighted as promotable on the succession plan
- Female managers working in male dominated environment and looking to break through
- Change managers who are involved in creating change and/or individuals put at risk of redundancy
- Experiencing symptoms of stress & anxiety who require support and guidance to focus on positive mental health and wellbeing.

COACHING PROGRAMMES – WHAT DO THEY LOOK LIKE?
Coaching and Mentoring, by their very nature, are tailored to the needs of the individual.

Contracting (often via triangulation) is paramount – what do you want as an outcome, what does AMAZING look, sound and feel like to you – we’ll then STRETCH this!!

INVESTMENT:
Coaching and Mentoring programme lengths vary but, as an example, most programmes run in cycles of six sessions and are delivered at a competitive hourly or session rate.

HERE’S A QUICK Q&A COURSE OUTLINE AND OTHER DETAILS ARE BELOW:-
Q: How will the individual learning and live sessions be structured for learners?
It typically takes 15hrs for a learner to complete the course. This is structured for the learner in the following way:

− Individual learning – 1hr − Live session one – 1hr 45min

− Individual learning – 2hrs – Live session two – 2hrs 20min

− Individual learning – 2hrs − Live session three – 2hrs

− Individual learning – 2hrs − Live session four – 1hr 55min

Every live session includes a 10min break.

Q: In what timeframe should the four live sessions be delivered?
There is flexibility for you to run the course over a length of time that suits you and your learners. For the best learner experience, we recommend that the course is delivered over a two-week period, in at least four days. This allows the learners to complete their individual learning ahead of each session.

Q: Will there be a new manual and workbook for the Online Mental Health First Aid course?
The course manuals are the same for the Online Mental Health First Aid course as the Adult MHFA Two Day. The workbooks are significantly different, and learners will require both the Online Mental Health First Aid course workbook as well as access to the MHFA England Online Learning Hub to complete their individual learning. A manual and workbook will be ordered for each learner you register on your Instructor Member dashboard for this course.

Q: What is the limit on the maximum number of learners for the Online Mental Health First Aid course?
The minimum and maximum numbers of learners remain the same as the face-to-face Adult MHFA Two Day course. You may deliver to a maximum of 16 learners and we recommend a minimum of eight learners. Piloting of the course suggests that due to the increased technical demands of leading a group remotely, and to support the learner experience, we advise limiting the number of learners to a maximum of 12 for one person to instruct and support.

Q: What is the cost of the course to learners?
The Online Mental Health First Aid course will be delivered for the same price as the face-to-face course. We have invested in a new Online Learning Hub to ensure that the learning outcomes remain the same. We have also tailored the learner experience to ensure safe and effective delivery of our training in the online space. £POA

Q: What certificate will the learner receive at the end of the course?
Learners that complete their entire course, including their individual learning, will be awarded a personalised ‘Online Mental Health First Aid’ e-certificate detailing the course they attended, the date of attendance, and the name of their MHFA England Instructor Member. This can be used as proof of the learning undertaken.

Q: What are the responsibilities of the Instructor Member in delivering the Online Mental Health First Aid course?
Instructors are responsible for the end-to-end learner experience of the course. Your responsibilities for delivering this course now also include: − Course management – including course registrations, communications with learners and ordering their course materials − Managing courses on the MHFA England Online Learning Hub − Supporting learners with individual learning activities and monitoring their progress − Facilitating learning during the live sessions

Q: Will the Online Mental Health First Aid course provide the same level of quality in learning as the Adult MHFA Two Day face-to-face course?
The Online Mental Health First Aid course has the same learning outcomes and content as the Adult MHFA Two Day course. We have piloted the online course to test key changes to activities and content and listened to the feedback from our National Trainers and the pilot learners. Course sections that require higher levels of instructor support have been retained for delivery by the Instructor Member. We have taken the time to tailor the learner experience to suit the online environment and are confident that the Online Mental Health First Aid course delivers the same learning outcomes as the face-to-face Adult MHFA Two Day course.

THE MHFA ENGLAND ONLINE LEARNING HUB
Q: What is the MHFA England Online Learning Hub?
The MHFA England Online Learning Hub is an integrated learning platform that provides a one-stop “hub” for learners. From one login, learners can access, interact with, and complete their learning modules for both their individual learning and instructor-led live sessions.

Q:What are the main learning features within the MHFA England Online Learning Hub?
