Karen was perfect for us. We had a 2 bed condo in Hoboken that we wanted to list right away in April. We checked around and were honestly becoming skeptical about staging. But when we found her, she was extremely responsive and convinced us of the value add. She had great style judgment for our place, which visitors complimented. We had a couple of minor differences of opinion, and she was very user friendly to making those changes promptly. She brings a lot of her own props. She is great at dealing with the furniture rental company (CORT) and is there for drop off and pick up to ensure things go smoothly. The best part is that she's always responsive, and that she's very honest - she actually advised against some expensive painting and flooring work we were getting done to save us money and hassle, when that would only have made her work look even better. I’d highly recommend Karen Parziale – she did an amazing job staging our Staten Island home for sale. The house was decorated so nice – we wished we had contacted her years beforehand!
We had our first offer within 48 hours of listing and multiple full-price offers in less than 10 days. There was tons of interest and multiple showings almost every day – thousands of views on Zillow and lots of ‘Saves’ in a very short time. Décor and colors were neutral and we attracted a wide range of buyers for showing – all ages and backgrounds. We had local buyers as well as interest from Brooklyn.
Karen and her associate, Lauren Truppo, met with us multiple times and helped transform all areas including a basement and backyard. We contacted Karen 6 weeks before listing and she provided recommendations for paint colors, rugs, and a few additional furniture/decor pieces. Honestly though, almost everything was staged using our existing furniture/items. She helped change the layout and organized decor in ways that would look fabulous for photos.
She was available for follow-up emails, text and phone calls after the initial consultation. Karen and Lauren returned the day of the photo shoot to help organize everything one last time and make sure the photographer executed the right shots. Her final last minute touches made a big difference.
When our realtor’s photographer was an unexpected no-show on the day of the shoot, Karen was extremely professional and helped set us up with a really stellar photographer for the next round.
I'd also recommend Ian Wilson from http://www.eastviewphotography.com/. Such great work! He was very detail-oriented and worked hard to get the right lighting and shots for the rooms. He gave consideration to how a photo might appear on mobile device as well as computer when setting up the shots. We had challenges with sun spots and/or dark spots, and he used a variety of strategies to help get the shots right.
We were so lucky work with Karen and her talented colleagues. The team helped us quickly sell our house for a great price. I’d highly recommend!

She came in for the first time consulting. I really love her work. She put a lot of thoughts into our place. She saw the potential we did ever think about. She worked efficiently and constantly, even late nights, sending me ideas on what to buy. Karen has an incredible eye for decor... almost intuitive in the way she can pick out the one thing that would work. I thought I knew a lot about decor, what sells, that you either have an eye for it or you don't. I was so wrong. I learned so much more than I expected. Karen is Amazing. Her Marketing background coupled with her staging expertise and extensive education in Fueng Shui is what sets her apart from everyone.  The value in what I took away from this class went beyond my expectations in my own Real Estate business.
