I had the pleasure of having a school counseling internship with Katerina at a high school in southern Orange County. Not only is she a compassionate, caring, personable and sweet woman, she is especially very knowledgeable when it comes to mental health. Katerina encouraged me to work hard during the remainder of graduate school and inspired me to also pursue mental health as a profession in the future. I have shadowed Katerina during many different types of experiences at the high school (academic, social and emotional counseling) which greatly helped me to gain a better understanding of how to effectively counsel students. Katerina goes above and beyond to help not only her students, but her team as well! Everyone loves her! She is always so welcoming and I can tell that every person who leaves her office leaves feeling incredibly special because she is just such a wonderful and easy person to talk to.
