Our service staff is comprised of women and men over the age of 40 with a variety of backgrounds and careers, all of whom have a passion for or experience in the hospitality industry.

Awesome food! I worked with Penny to provide a brunch for a baby shower I was giving for my daughter. We met in person and discussed my vision and concerns for the party. Penny had tons of suggestions and options to make things better and easier for me. Every detail was easily ironed out. She was really wonderful to work with! The food itself was absolutely delicious! Everyone was so impressed and several people with future events asked me for her card. I must say that whether you need just food, or food and service, The Penny Loafer is your caterer! 5 stars all around! More...

I am so thankful for the service The Penny Loafer offers. I recently had a very DIY wedding at a venue which allowed outside food. We knew what food we would be serving but didn't want to ask friends and family to setup and serve it. The Penny Loafer was able to handle food prep and serving for us. Their pricing was more than reasonable and the professional service they offered was beyond what we would have expected. They arrived on time and immediately jumped into action. They were so good at their job, we didn't even need to provide more than the most basic instructions to get them going. We were able to just enjoy our wedding, knowing that food and cleanup was being handled in the background. We cannot recommend The Penny Loafer enough! More...

I hired The Penny Loafer (Penny & Pam) to assist with a large party I was hosting in my home.  It was the best part of the party! They took care of filling food, drinks, clearing dishes and way more.  I actually sat and talked with my guests!! My kitchen was spotless as they left which was the most amazing feeling.  I cannot recommend them enough.  And holy cow, the bread she brought us was AMAZING.  Can't wait to use this service again!! The Penny Loafer is a great catering option. Her food is delicious! My family catered the Penny loafer for a recent family vacation. We had the marinara sauce with meatballs, pizza crust and dinner rolls. Everything was wonderful. I have a sons with very severe dairy and nut allergies. She took this into account when preparing the food and everything was clearly labeled. Highly recommend!! More...

Our service is primarily event assistance. While we do prepare Hors d'oeuvres, appetizers, and desserts, we do not offer a full catering menu. Our signature is Bread.

We don't create menus per se, but we do assist our clients with making the right choice for catering. Often times people do not consider that what's ordered is not necessarily what ends up being served because of timing, presentation, oversight, weather, transportation, and other variables. It is important to us that our clients are educated on what they purchase, rather than making a knee jerk decision based on sentiment, history, or personal preference.

Every time we get to work it's a celebration of some kind...and who wouldn't enjoy that? We get to meet lots of great people, make new friends, create new ideas, and deliver an untouchable product. Service is of utmost importance to us and we do it impeccably so when the end result matches the goal of delivering the client's vision, the reward is inexplicable.

The Penny Loafer started with a cook and a baker who both sought to find the classic values in customer service in hospitality. We wanted to provide hand crafted products and incomparable service to every customer regardless of the setting so we took the love of what we do and added a personal touch that caters to the desires and needs of each and every client.

Services

Gourmet coffee has become a staple for many people so it comes as no surprise that our Gourmet Coffee Bar is becoming a hot ticket in town. Featuring a delicious blend of regular coffee, decaf coffee, a variety of hot tea, flavored syrup, premium hot cocoa, and more, your guests can try out their Barista skills or use one of our staff for a gourmet service experience!

​Our Gourmet Coffee Bar includes the following:

​A gourmet blend of fresh ground coffee in both regular and decaf in large easy-pour urns
1 hot water urn for tea
A variety of hot tea packets with lemon wedges
A tin of cocoa mix for mochas or hot cocoa
White Sugar
Artificial sweetener
Regular and flavored individual creamers
Stir Sticks
Disposable double-walled 8oz coffee cups
Napkins
Ice Bucket for Iced Coffee
Coffee mints
Staff maintenance and service
Flavored syrup: $10 each. Choose from any of the following: Mocha, Vanilla, Salted Caramel, Chocolate, Raspberry, Irish Cream.

Coffee service is so trendy right now yet it's the one thing that is overlooked the most. With alcohol being served it really is something to seriously consider. Coffee can be served hot or over ice and our variety is appealing to nearly all coffee drinkers. We need 7 days notice advance notice.

Whether you are throwing a small cocktail party, formal dinner, wedding, birthday, picnic, business luncheon, or any other reason to gather, we've got you covered. Our servers cater to the needs of our clients with professionalism and flair. This is the backbone to our business and how it all started so it is without hesitation that unprecedented customer service will always be the primary focus of our attention.

We tailor each event to the needs of the client whether table assistance is requested or an ample buffet in the background. Our Service Packages are designed with the client's needs in mind so if a service is requested that does not appear in a package, we are happy to accommodate.

Our Event Assistants are trained to handle anything from serving hors d'oeuvres to creating dessert displays, in any venue from a banquet hall to your dining room.

Staff members are professionally dressed in formal attire or casual uniforms and can add accent color to highlight the theme of your event. Our primary goal is to provide you with the service and image you expect.

Throwing the perfect event can be time consuming, expensive, and stressful, especially with having to purchase things that get overlooked in the planning process, costing more money and crunching more of your time. Renting equipment such as buffet pieces, dinnerware, a coffee bar, dessert stations, tiered platters, or a Chocolate Fountain is a great way to have all you need at your event without spending a fortune or worrying about how to make it all happen. The Penny Loafer offers a small selection of rentals to help make your life a little easier.
