I had Simon the pc guy came around my place. he came and he fixed my desktop computer and loaded up a software on my memory stick. he took my laptop home with him and he fixed this with my desktop. he given me and some knowledge if I have any more problems. He as the experience and knowledge in fixing my desktop. He is expensive he got reasonable rates. I would recommend him if you need any help. he does home visits and see what the problem is More...

My Dell laptop, which is now about 9 years old and still working, started to get very difficult to open and close.
Contacted Simon the 'PC Guy' and arranged to get the laptop to him for repair.
He was excellent at keeping me informed and also very good at realising that the laptop was getting on a bit and that the repair might not be cost affective if parts were not available.
As it turned out the lid hinge was replaced but the lid itself was not available which the hinge had broken away from. This was explained by Simon and we agreed that the original lid could be used with some small bolts holding the hinge onto the lid.
Very pleased with the outcome and the laptop is back in full use.

There didn't seem to be many people who would go to customers houses.

I'm friendly, honest and helpful but professional too. My prices are affordable and I use a common sense approach in when a repair is viable.
